Made the best of a prepaid 2 night stay...ugh. Check-in, maskless staff. Night one, 2 snowmobiles revving in the parking slot right in front of our door...for hours. Went out for a break, back to find no staff and only one channel working on the TV all evening. Two queen beds, both mattresses how old? Squeaking coils in my side and back. Badly stained upholstered chair, didn't place anything on it. Maybe use some bleach on the bathroom facecloths and towels? Stains...yep. No blame for closed pool/restaurant due to Covid. Discounted ski pass was a plus..$5. off. I would give a 1.5, but rounded up. Really wish I had paid the extra $30. to stay elsewhere.

Had an amazing experience here. Ran into some trouble on the trail and Paula went way out of her way to help me out and make me feel at home. The whole staff is amazing, the rooms are clean and nice and the view from the porch is gorgeous. Can't thank Paula enough for a great stay and couldn't recommend this place more if I tried. 10/10! - Fenway

This is a clean Motel with Paula holding down the fort. The rooms are clean and quiet. The restaurant next door The Happy Trout serves great food and drinks. Decor is a little dated and the rooms could use some pictures or prints of the area. Otherwise good stay.

Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. Paula was very helpful including s’mores for the kids!! Perfect little retreat from the hustle and bustle. Great view of Rangeley lake from your window. Right on the main st, half a mile from downtown beaches and Boatlanding. Has access to the atv trails with trailer parking outback. The Happy Trout Restaurant was a piece of heaven. Delicious food and great atmosphere! Ask Sue to tell you where all the local gems are! We will be back!
