The room is spacious, clean and quiet. We made a reservation so it would have been nice to enter a warm room rather than one at 54 degrees. We received a discount by paying in cash. There is a small refrigerator so we brought our own breakfast rather than paying $15 for the continental breakfast.

Not your typical check-in process, but fairly efficient and simple. Nice clean, large room with all the amenities you would need. Continental breakfast brought to your room makes it nice. Would recommend if you are in the area.

We stayed in the Oxford room. Be AWARE...while the room was clean and included a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. there were not enough towels, more dated than the Acadia, AC was not that great but ok and lighting was not very bright. What really turned me off about this place was 1. there was glass on the front door and anyone walking by could see right in. We had to tape covering over that! the door handle was very loose and did not have a security bar lock. 2. there was a door in the bedroom that apparently is access to a basement where the owners live-and the owner just walked right in after knocking so quietly that no one heard and continued right in even though we were getting dressed to go out! Didn't turn around -stop or say sorry, just walked right in to put some muffins and milk in the fridge. They really should use the FRONT door and not the side secret door when guests are there. I was really upset and turned off by this. So if staying here, pick a different room. There was a very bright light outside our windows that stayed on most of the nite as well. I guess I would not stay here again, but others we traveled with loved it as they were staying in different rooms with ONE access to it so no surprise visitors, me-I was turned off!!

Everything else about this stay was fine, but the bed foundation (box-spring) squeaked so badly we had to slide the mattress onto the floor to get any sleep. Fortunately the room was large enough to accommodate this and we were strong enough to move it.
