I booked a room here for one night on New Years Eve. The manager in the office was very pleasant and helpful first on the phone and then when I checked in. I got a non-smoking room with two double beds. The room was very clean and larger than I expected, as was the bathroom. During the off-season there is...

We arrived for a one night stopover on our way up north. Check in was quick and the lady who checked us in was very friendly. The hotel is on a main route, but still felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. There didn't appear to be many eateries around the motel, so eat before you arrive. The...

This Inn looks much different than the picture on the web site but it was very clean, neat and had all we needed for one night. You get what you paid for, but in a good way. Staff was very pleasant. The decor and amenities are very outdated, but I saw a stack of new toilets next to a dumpster...

I have been favorably impressed by Americas Best Value Inns now in 3 separate locations including this one. They are clean, comfortable, secure, and the staff helpful and accommodating. They are not fancy but give good value when you just need a place to sleep, get cleaned up, eat breakfast and be on your way.

Whoever said "You get what you pay for" probably stayed here. First, it's a motel, not hotel, with registration in a separate shack-like building. The motel itself is 2 stories and you use a common stairway to get to the 2nd story but both doors are always open so not a very secure feeling. Also, the location is isolated for...

The owner managers are pleasant, efficient and accommodating, and and take obvious pride...

I was so happy to find a room for under $150 for our 35 anniv trip to Maine. We've been going since 1980. When we got to the hotel, was told we had a queen bed and a couch. I reserved a king bed. At the bottom of the stairway leading to our room, there was leftover "do not cross"...

This past week my wife and I spent a lovely two nights at America’s Best Value Inn in Scarborough, Maine. We enjoyed this quiet, clean motel room in the very heart of Maine’s most desirable location for everything from the sights, shopping, dining, to summer fun. We went to the Portland area partially on business, but it turned out to...

A fantastic place to stay near Pine Point, Black Point, or Ferry beaches at a very affordable price. The rooms are larger and immaculate; the staff is very receptive to guests' needs. Very simple and straight ahead, a great alternative to the busy beach cottage areas. Lots to visit nearby, great food and more things that the locals love. You...

What a wonderful little place this is! My room and bathroom were big, the bed was super-comfortable, and the proprietors could not have been nicer. There aren't a lot of frills here, but who cares? I stayed in Room 210, which offers a queen bed and pull-out sofa--this room is on the second floor right on the end of the...
