And what do you get? We are tent camping and paid $40. For that we get a very small camp site without a level spot to pitch a tent and so tiny that the neighbor's tent is not 10 feet away from us, a 5 minute walk to the beach, we don't get to pick one of the many empty...

This campground is awesome! We stayed for 8 nights with our 7 year old son and added another night! We wish we had been able to stay longer! Amazing place! The owners were a wealth of information about the area helping us discover the beauty of the area! The artist in residence is an added bonus!

Myself, my husband, and two children stayed for three nights on an extended East Coast camping trip. What an awesome campground! We had a lot right on the ocean. There was a private wooden deck for each lot. You could sit out there and enjoy the beautiful views. The kids lived walking along the ocean looking for treasures. The bathrooms...

We just got back from another wonderful weekend at Searsport Shores Oceanfront Campground, and this place never disappoints. We arrived after dark, which makes setting up our pull-behind trailer a little tricky. When we checked in, they offered to help us to our campsite. We declined since we've been there before and thought we'd find it just fine. And we...

We had a great trip, and the choice was once again the right choice! We had a great time seated right next to the ocean eating dinner, cool breeze, seagulls waking you up, water lapping at the seawall. So relaxing. This year we had a twist, our Jeep broke down, water pump went out. Steve the owner said not to...

This was a beautiful little campground. Water front sites were a little tight, but the rest seemed to give plenty of room. Ours was partially shaded, and a couple rows off the water. Very well kept campground. One in our group tent camped and it was a great tenting area. We were in an RV site. The farther back from...

What a gorgeous, friendly place! We had so much fun kayaking right from the campground ( we brought our own, but they do rentals as well), walking the beach, and reading novels from the extensive rec room library. We started in an oceanfront campsite, where the views were amazing, but when I had back issues, the owners cheerfully changed our...

I'm so surprised to see reviews describing "prickly owners" and a mean old man on a golf cart! The owners couldn't be nicer - and they're constantly working to make the place better. It really doesn't need any improvement - it's a fantastic place. Lots of artsy stuff all around, beautiful gardens, great campsites. OK, I see there are some...

I just visited this campground for the first time over 4th of july weekend and I was very impressed! I'm much more used to secluded woods camping but this was a nice change of pace. The views of the water are beautiful and I highly suggest the tent camping without car-side access. The chance of being within earshot of the...

the campground was clean and everyone was really nice. The bathroom was clean and the showers were clean too. The Beach was a lot of fun..we spent a lot of time catching green crabs which are invasive to this area so the camping office gives prizes to the family that catches the most...overall this is a pet friendly and family...
