all the other motels in the area are in very noisy areas; traffic, loud exhaust trucks, loud boom-boom cars, horns, fireworks, semis, atvs, This motel is QUIET. You want QUIET,that motel is QUIET. If your business is in the Waterville area, this motel is about 8 miles? all straight road. so that is doable

Stayed there the night before going into the hospital. I travel a lot and I have to say that is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The room was a little small, well not for me but it might be for someone else. The owners were great. They were awesome. Anything you needed and they were there. So friendly. I am so happy I stayed there. I will be staying there again on my next hospital visit. It's great for a business person. Has a nice counter to work on. TV comes in great and the bed was so comfortable. Not far from town. A clean room does it for me.

This is the second consecutive year I've stayed here - again, not my choice - the group I'm transporting made the arrangements. The proprietor and front desk greeter (Miss Joyce ) is an absolute joy to work with and talk to and intends to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms themselves are basically no frills - full-size bed, elongated table, cable TV, wi-fi, mini-fridge, bathroom w/shower stall. The only thing I noticed which was discouraging was most of the outlets were 2-prong as opposed to 3-prong so have an adaptor to ensure you can plug in your devices. I dare say that inconvenience will be addressed and rectified sooner than later. Overall, it's a nice, cozy place to put your head down for the night.

Not to sound too negative but as a tourist AVOID Skowhegan if you can, they are really not set up to handle tourist. You have few choices of motel, and none of them are outstanding, we really wanted to stay at Breezy Acres but they were full. Could not find a breakfast restaurant or coffee shop open except for Dunkin doughnuts and the staff was rude. Ok, so on to this hotel, it was CLEAN its only positive. The person at the front desk was almost rude when I checked in or maybe disinterested is a better description. They do not have coffee pots in rooms nor do they offer their guest coffee in the morning which when traveling a hot cup of coffee is always welcomed. I was told by the front desk person that they wasted a lot of coffee so they dont offer it...WHAT..not rocket science..ask your guest if they are going to have coffee and make appropriate amount..surge charge a coffee fee OR put a pot in the room with single brewer. I knew when we booked that they only had FULL beds which would have been OK if the room had not been so small..small enough not to have nightstands on both sides of bed... small enough that my husband and I could not get ready at same time..that small. So close to road we heard traffic all night. Oh it was CHEAP..
