Our first evening was a planned to enjoy the dining facilities. Unfortunately, we waited an extensive time to order, then get our dinners. The dinners arrived undercooked and unedible. The floor manager tried to accommodate us, but unfortunately her aggressive approach left us stunned. She...More
We stayed here for a night to round out a camping trip on Mt Desert. The hotel is very charming, and perfectly located on the sound. We had a room on the third floor with a view of the water, which was really nice. Clean,...More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit that had view of the sound from the master bedroom, living room and deck. There was a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, full kitchen and large deck with table for 4. There are some units right on the water, but not sure if they have gas or wood fireplaces. Beal's lobster pier is short walk away and is excellent. Thurston's lobster pound is about 15-minute drive and is also excellent.
