Milan is the proprietor and he genuinely cares that everyone has a great stay. And hes a great guy. This inn is in great shape and the self serve bar is cool. Breakfasts were included and very good. They did a good job making sure social distancing procedures were in place. Take lobsters home in a cooler from Beal's, have a lobster roll, take a loooong hike, enjoy the quiet side.
We love the lindenwood inn! Last week was our 7th visit in 10 years and we truly always feel like family. This past visit was extra special as our daughter became engaged in acadia and the inn provided the best possible setting. We were able to celebrate on the stunning and spacious roof top deck off of our room:) The staff, with Milan in charge, was welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The amenities such as the pool, hot tub, gas fire place and honor bar are always a high point and add to the relaxing nature of this wonderful spot. Love that we can walk into town or to dining spots. Regarding Covid, procedures are well in place to make guests feel safe. We cannot recommend this inn more highly ~ and now we have even more special memories @ the lindenwood inn!
This place was so nice from the ambience, to the rooms, pool and hot tub. It just felt friendly like home. The staff was great and our host Milan was by far the best host we’ve had in quite some time. Just a great person who sets the ambience for you- from the music to the fire in the fireplace in a cooler morning. He thinks of these details. Our room was great with its own porch. When we come out to Acadia again, we’ll stay here for sure. And that eggs Benedict you see was delicious!
We are Mainers and decided to spend this summer visiting Maine, so we checked into the Lindenwood Inn in Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island. We would usually avoid MDI during the summer but this summer was different. We stayed for 2 nights at the Inn and it was really lovely. Milan introduced himself and was such a great host. We checked ourselves in which is actually kind of nice and had Room 7. It came with a large bathroom and claw foot tub and small balcony overlooking the back yard and pool. Breakfast was included as well as an "honor" bar. Breakfast both days was delicious and was served inside or outside on their wrap around front porch. Because of Covid, there was no bed changing service, etc., but a nice pile of fresh towels. Everyone at the Inn and on MDI wears a mask; always, everywhere. If you are not comfortable with that, don't come to Maine.…
Spent a week at the Lindenwood last summer. Very comfortable, accommodating to our needs, delicious breakfast and a wonderful staff. Great location and great rooms. Highly recommend this place because the staff are darn nice and very helpful.
