We started staying here over 30 years ago, under 3 different owners, and it keeps getting better. Our last 4 stays have been under the current owners, who have done an outstanding job all around. The rooms and common areas are great, and breakfast is...More

It was great having you with us. Thanks so much for your kind words.
This was the perfect place for us to stay for a weeklong visit to Acadia N.P. The innkeepers and their staff were friendly, the breakfasts were delicious and our suite (the Sou'wester) fit our needs very well.

We are interested in the Captain's Nook or the Dory. We need a first floor room - are both of these on the first floor? Also, I am very allergic to down pillows and comforters. Are there alternatives available? Thank you for your responses.

The Captain's Nook is on the second floor, and I believe the Dory is likewise. There are a few first floor rooms or suites. As others have said, contact the owner - Don is consistently gracious and accommodating.
