My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and there is nothing but praises! The owners were lovely and tended to our every need. The actual bed and breakfast is so quaint and quiet. Lovely bedrooms with your own bathroom. Fresh towels and cleaning service. Three course homemade gourmet breakfast every morning that was to die for. Everything was...

The Kingsleigh Inn in the best place to stay on Mount Desert Island bar none. My wife and stayed there for a week for our honeymoon in the Summer of 2016. Neither of us knew what to expect from a B&B, but I have a hard time believing any other B&B can compare. The three course breakfasts were delicious, the...

My husband and I have stayed at this property four times under two innkeepers, and this is our third visit with current innkeepers Bryan and Pamela. If we could afford it, we would take up permanent residence in the third floor Kingsleigh Suite, aka "the turret room," which features a large sitting room, large modern bathroom, huge bedroom with a...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There are so many nice touches at this place including culinary treats through out the day, starting with early morning mini muffins, then a three course delightful and healthy breakfast, drinks available 24/7, afternoon cookies, evening wine and snack, and bedtime port and home made chocolate. It has a homey, and at the same time...

We really liked Kingsleigh Inn. Pamela and Bryan are experienced innkeepers who provide a comfortable stay. The famous three course breakfast also includes a mystery juice each morning . We appreciated the option of the "savory" breakfast (eggs in some form plus meat or lobster), rather than only a sweet one, as at some other places. We also saw people...

This was our second trip to Kingsleigh and it was as good or better than the first. A lovely location on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island, away from the Bar Harbor tourist mecca but equally great access to Acadia and all its trails. Beautiful breakfasts served out on the wraparound porch in nice weather. Wine and appetizers in...

We've just returned from another 5 star stay at the Kingsleigh Inn. We've been visiting Acadia / MDI for a couple of decades and know the Island and the housing options well. The KI is IT for us. Pamela and Bryan are top notch Innkeepers. As the reviews say: no details are overlooked. We are avid hikers and especially appreciate...

Perfect location for exploring Mt Desert Island and all of Acadia National Park, without being in the busy Bar Harbor area. Felt great to return to the "quiet side" after a day of exploring. Inn is quiet, clean, and friendly. Our room was bright and comfortable. The breakfasts were gourmet. Little touches like 24 hour coffee and snacks, wine and...

Pamela and Bryan's expertise as innkeepers shone throughout our stay. From the tawny port in our room to the fresh flowers to the guest refrigerator stocked with beverages and the delicious food, they seem to have thought about most creature comforts a guest would want. Special shout-out to Pamela for her delicious and very creative breakfasts and the snacks available...
