When my mother-in-law who lives in Florida comes to visit we book her a room at this Inn. Joanne is so easy to talk to and answered every question I had which were many as I wanted to make my mother-in-laws stay as best as possible. She stayed as recently as 2 weeks ago. While checking her in Joanne asked...

We were excited about staying here, but what we found was a room that looked, smelled, and felt like of old motel room. It had old creaky furniture, a tiny bathroom, and the towels are not refreshed unless you ask. The breakfast was not bad. We knew that it was a pet friendly place, but we did not expect to...

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you didn't find us approachable enough to discuss your concerns face to face. We weren't aware of any guests leaving unhappy and can't improve upon our service if we don't know there are concerns. So many of our guests literally get down on the floor playing with our 10 lb jack-a-poo and we've...

We wanted to get a true Maine experience and I don't think we could have asked for more. The area, and neighboring cities were great and the quaint bed and breakfast was the perfect setting. We have been in the area for a week staying at a new place every night and this is the one place we hope to...

I loved the location of this place, and I like old Inns, and realize you can't expect an old house to be without some creaks and imperfections. Our breakfast was very nice, and it was great taking a hike to the quarry, but the place itself had a few too many issues for me to give it a great review....

Hello, thank you very much for taking the time to send a review. We are glad to know you enjoyed your breakfast and time out to the quarry. We continue to work on our rooms and have updated them since purchasing the inn four and a half years ago. We love the history of the inn--it was a boarding house...

This B&B is a little piece of heaven. The location is spectacular with a secluded, non-touristy view of a Maine coastal cove, just minutes from Rockport. I found the view restorative and appealing to my artist's eye. The decor of the inn is aesthetically pleasing, yet warm and inviting, mixing clean contemporary cottage-style touches with antiques. In this way, staying...

After looking at the Craignair Inn website, I was pretty well mesmerized by the location on a small Maine peninsula, right on the edge of the water. Plus, the photos/menu/reviews of the food at the restaurant looked really good, too. I liked the idea of getting there mid-afternoon, having a beer or a glass of wine on the porch and...

We really appreciate the effort to write a review and are glad that you enjoyed the breakfast, service and deck overlooking Clark Island and the ocean. I hope I can sway you to come again! Unfortunately the evening you stayed with us we found ourselves in an uncontrollable situation. It certainly was not what we wanted for our guests or...

The Craignair has been around forever with various owners. The new owners are friendly and have definitely "spiffed" things up since my last visit there. Particularly appreciated that they serve a decent breakfast. In fact, it was a really tasty breakfast that included fresh blueberry muffins and and excellent frittata (the best I've had outside of Spain!). The setting is...

Hi, thank you for staying with us and taking time to share a review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you visiting again! Having tv's in the rooms is a conversation we frequently have and, as you know, we've stuck with them--seems to be more people like them than not! Always a good idea to...

We stayed in the adjoining restored church in a lovely room with private bath. The thing that makes this place aypical is the gourmet food. Attention to detail is first rate, and the breakfasts (included) were thoughtfully prepared and artfully presented. Innkeepers are a young couple who are friendly and helpful, even on a weekend with a full house. This...

Lovely inn right on the water, beautiful view from my 2nd floor window. Quiet location at the end of a road, outdoor seating, delicious breakfasts. My husband and I consider ourselves foodies and thought the food here was excellent.
