We booked it while we were driving , it was fast and no problem ! Hotel is clean and has a nice decor ! Lovely flowers outside the room . Friendly hotel owner!!!! Will definitely stay here again if I will be in the area !
I don't remember exactly what their sign says, but it implies that staying at this hotel will leave some money in your pocket for other things. The owner was friendly and helpful. The room is pretty much what you would expect. There was some traffic noise, but if you are hiking in Acadia all day, that noise will probably not bother you. The housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning the room and were friendly as well. This hotel is not about luxury and is priced that way. It is a place to sleep.
The bed was comfortable and the TV worked well. The WiFi would not accept the password (yes, my entry multiple times was accurate). The shower stall is too small, and I am a slender man. It is close to the road so there is traffic noise during some of the day and night. The continental breakfast is a very strict continental breakfast. I think the room is overpriced, but that is what hotels do.
We booked a queen with kitchen and loved it. It was immaculate, well equipped to cook and very spacious. They had an added bonus of fresh coffee and donuts in the morning. There's a little traffic noise during the day, but we were out hiking and exploring and the traffic quiets down so we could enjoy open windows at night. Very nice proprietors.
Affordable and cozy cabin. Walls were thin so we could hear out neighbors. VERY CLOSE the the road, so lots of traffic noise. However, clean and comfortable. We would stay again in a pinch.... The gentleman at the Front Desk was very kind and helpful. Best part of staying here was the BBQ place across the street. BEST FOOD IN MAINE!!!
