We stayed at this campground for a baseball tournament that was in Oakland. It was narrow back roads to get here. The hill turning into the campground was horrible. Steep and bumpy. We watched two campers not be able to drive back up the hill. Had to be towed. The owners are the rudest people ever. We had a late...

We stayed for a weekend. The campground has a huge bonfire and a DJ who plays music LOUD until fairly late. Loud enough so you cannot even have a conversation at your own campsite while they are playing (and it's for the whole evening). More of the trailers were permanent vs true campers and the office hours were never accurate...

First off a lot of what is said in previous comments are fairly true. There are no chickens running around any more though. The beagle is still on the loose and we did lose some food to him. He's a sweet dog though. The Maine attraction though are the campers. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The views and access...

Run down campground with dogs and chickens running loose and pooping everywhere. The dog eats your food when you turn away and howls all night. Owner and family are extremely rude to campers. Disgusting bathrooms and showers. Overall horrible experience.

We came for a quiet weekend. Instead we listened to dogs barking constantly. There was one that barked for more than an hr while we were trying to eat dinner the first weekend. There was also a beagle that was always running loose. At one point he tried to take things off our table when we weren't looking. No matter...

We spent one night - off season and quiet. We had what we needed, no frills. Nice view of the lake. Several tattered trailers looked stationery. Two speed bumps on the way out sent everything in the RV flying.

This campground does not even qualify as a campground. It is a run down trailer park. They have two campsite for tents located in the middle of trailer park residents. Once our tent was set up we had kids and dogs running through our site all weekend, apparently out site was usually vacant and used as a path. Please stay...

Stayed here 5 years ago and has just run down over the years. They need to tear down the nasty bathrooms and start over. The junk yard of old cars and trailers on the way in do nothing for the place. Nice owners.
