We have had the pleasure of staying here 5 times during out camp pickup weekends. Each year we find it more beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are spotless - even my mother who is a clean freak and refuses to stay anyplace that is not perfect was blown away. The inn is tastefully decorated and beautifully located on a pond...

I stayed in the Irish Room & shared a hallway bathroom with my cousin, who stayed in the English Room. Both upstairs rooms are beautifully decorated, as are the lovely reading & fellowship rooms downstairs. Breakfast was a great & delicious morning treat all three days of our nearby family reunion! Eager to return!

Quiet and peaceful in the true sense of the word. No wi-fi or TV, but it's really good (and necessary) to get away from them once in a while. Barbara and Jan were extremely gracious, accommodating, and made my mother's 88th birthday very special. We stayed two nights, and both nights the dinner was extraordinary! Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I were looking for a place where we could bring our dog with us on our 1yr Anniversary weekend getaway. Barbara was very sweet and accommodating. The location is absolutely scenic, like something out of a painting and the fact we could bring our dog for just a small fee per night made things easier on us....

We were the only ones there, and I felt very guilty, but Barbara treated us so well. I would highly recommend having dinner there. We did not see any restaurants close by and it was so much easier having dinner there, with wine we had been told to bring and then all you have to do is toddle off to...

We’ve traveled to many places in North America and abroad over the years. We are not the review-writing types – in fact, the last time we wrote a review was in 1984 for a wonderful little inn in France. Fast forward to today, and we feel that the experience we have had at the Waterford Inne is definitely worth writing...

Have stayed here several times. Each visit has been special. Dinner is always exquisite. The innkeepers are experts at attending to our needs. The grounds are beautiful. A really quiet setting. Each room is expertly decorated with it's own theme.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful respite, this is the place! No road or street noise. It's oh so clean and you will be served a wonderful breakfast. I also recommend taking advantage of dinner at least one night! We had a delicious meal! Barbara and Jan could not have been more accommodating.

Last week we stayed at the Waterford Inne, located on a quiet back road in the Mountains and Lakes region of western Maine. We came for the canoeing, but could have just enjoyed our rooms, the grounds, and the many books, antiques and collectables that find their home at the Inne. No chintz and teddy bears here, but a real...
