This place is about half way between Kennebunk and hip pricey Ogonquit but an easy bike ride down US 1 and close to Wells attractions. Rooms are generous in their space with all the expected amenities. The family running it is friendly and professional. Even though it is on a main road Wells itself quiets down after hours and the rooms themselves are away from the road.

It is a small 2 level motel that is located right on Rt 1 but is very quiet! The owners were very pleasant and live right on the premises. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The King bed was like sleeping in a cloud! A small kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge /freezer, toaster, coffee pot and dishes and utensils and an in wall air conditioner that worked like a charm.
We found the price to be reasonable for in season in comparison to the other motels/hotels in the area. Although there is no smoking in the rooms, there are 2 chairs and a small table right outside the room with ashtrays to accommodate smokers.
We would stay there again the next time we are in Maine.

Place is old but I have no complaints. It was extremely well maintained, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good location, and great price. We booked last minute when everything else was full or $600 and we found this gem for $120. I'd go back. Cute pool area but we didn't use it since it was fall weather.

I can’t review the actual hotel, because we did not end up staying. I booked for 3 nights directly through the hotel. They did not want a credit card or anything to secure the reservation which was very weird and the first warning sign. It makes sense now as they called 5 days before planned arrival and stated “we have to cancel that room.” I asked if they had any other rooms available and I was told she could “let me know.” No thanks. I am assuming they got a reservation request for more nights than my reservation (therefore making more money), or they overbooked. A family member called the hotel after they called me to cancel, pretending to request a room, and when she said she wanted to stay there because her family was and gave my last name, the woman told her that I, myself, cancelled the room. I should not assume why they did this but regardless it was very unprofessional to cancel a room last minute without proper reasoning or a serious explanation and I would never attempt to book a room here again. I advise you don’t, either, because you will be scrambling to find somewhere else to stay last minute.

We stopped here for one night as I was visiting a friend who lives in Wells as we traveled back from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Florida. We had a room with two beds, but the room configuration was quite odd - beds were situated perpendicular from one another. There was no end table for one bed which made it impossible to place a phone, water bottle, etc. Also, several vertical blinds were broken which hindered privacy and allowed light to shine inside. Hot water came on only after having to run the water for several minutes. The motel is dated, yet adequately maintained, although could use some modernization, especially if one were to stay here for a longer period of time. On the plus side, there is a lovely pool area at the rear of the motel. We had a very nice interaction with a most friendly man who was cleaning the rooms. Location is good - close to I-95 and close to beaches, restaurants and shopping.

This is a small motel dreaming to be a hotel and charging clients the price of a good hotel when in reality it is an old motel with uncomfortable beds. No breakfast was included despite the high price of the room, no elevator like you would expect in a "hotel". Our room was on the 2nd floor so we had to lift the luggage up the stairs.

This is an okay motel.
The best part is the large outdoor pool.
They have no smoking signs in the room yet they have chairs outside the rooms with ashtrays. We did not want to be around smoke at all, but there it was, and people were smoking. Because of this we will not be staying here again.

We found bedbugs in the bedding, had bites on us, and had a bug in a cup. The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional, she totally denies any responsibility and refuses to refund money. Aside from that the rooms are dingy and stinky, stale old air, hard to breathe. Loud drunken guests late in to the night.

Incredibly flexible staff, great room, great location. Won't find a better value in Wells/Ogunquit. Highly recommend. Book directly by calling; avoid fees and the staff is easy to work with and helps you choose the best room for your needs.

The entire experience of dealing With this hotel was terrible. First of all they had no lights on outside the building at night and you can’t see it off the road in the dark. The Pictures of the rooms online looked nothing like the room they tried to give us. There was no lighting on the steps going up to the second floor and I fell on the steps. We ended up having to pay for the room but not stay. The room they tried to get us looked like it had not been updated in the last 50 years. The entire experience was terrible and they still charged us for the room.
