Came to Farmington to visit my niece at Univ. of Maine. Looking for hotels there was not much that looked good. When I widened my search Wilson Lake came up. Nice setting in a town 5 miles from Farmington. Very friendly staff. Great value.

Wonderful place! Very nice proprietors, very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful in directing us to the local sights and restaurants. The room was clean and the continental breakfast featured wonderful baked goods. My only complaint would be some construction work that started a little too early. However, it did encourage us to get up and get on the...

Stumbled upon this place traveling with Mom and Sister. We were very tired from traveling and came after dark. Owner waited for us and helped with bags and made sure we had everything we needed. Inn is directly on lake in country setting. Older but quaint. Extremely clean and room well stocked. Bed and pillows comfortable . Bathroom safe for...

We've stayed at the Wilson Lake Inn off and on for a number of years and are always impressed by Susan and Tom's friendliness and hospitality. Recently we've been in the process of building a small cabin in the area and had been camping out most of the time rather than staying at the inn. But on the occasion of...

We were a bit skeptical at first driving through part of Wilton, ME, but upon arriving at the Wilson Lake Inn, we put our doubts to rest right away! The premises were lovely - the grounds around the hotel were lanscaped beautifully, the hanging baskets were so colorful, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was quite...

As you drive in your first sight is the railings are hung with beautiful flowers. The grounds are lovely and beautifully kept. The rooms are very clean and well set up. Breakfast was muffins, pumpkin bread and a coffee cake as well as yogurt. The coffee was good and served in real mugs. All in all we wished we had...

Truly outstanding! Excellent value. Exceptionally clean! Terrific location. Decided to extend my stay by one night since this location made a perfect home base for awesome hiking to nearby mountains such as Tumbledown, Blueberry, Mt. Blue, Bald Mountain, etc. The continental breakfast was excellent. The owners, Tom and Sue, are very congenial and accommodative. Will undoubtedly be making return visits...

I recently stayed here for a business trip, and we used the on-site meeting room for three all-day meetings. Can't say enough good things about the staff, room cleanliness, beautiful location, and overall experience. Look forward to returning!

We stayed in room 35 and 35, two two-bedroom suites because we had 16 of us in total. The wifi, for a lack of better term, sucked. I was lucky to get 2 bars of signal. The recliner in the living room was broken and did not recline... Over all it was okay for a place to crash but if...

Wilson Lake Inn is a great find in Maine. We were in Maine to visit relatives and stayed in the 1st floor, 2 bedroom suite which provided plenty of room to spread out. The inn was clean and comfortable which is nice after a long drive. The staff were pleasant, helpful, and very friendly which is just as important as...
