The Inn is large and very well maintained. Beds are comfortable and rooms are full of antiques. Free breakfast in the morning is delicious and will be made to your order. Evening dining by retired Executive Chef is elegant and outstanding. Very affordable rate also a big plus.

If you're looking for somewhere near Wiscasset or Bath, why not head out of town for a slice of charm and tranquility - plus of course wonderful food? A few miles down Westport Island - near enough to get back to suburbia fairly quickly, but far enough to feel like a different planet. The old Inn is lovingly looked after...

Our three night stay was very enjoyable, we took the Butchering 101 cooking class and learned so much from Chef Mario. He and his wife Roni are wonderful hosts. The room was comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and the food was superb. The inn is a little remote, but that adds to the charm, as there are no TV's you...

We stayed two nights at this great Inn in October. Mario was a great host and his cooking is amazing. I would definitely go back for that! The breakfast was as amazing as dinner, with the most delicious French toast! The old farm is beautiful, the rooms are cosy and decorated in the style of the house. There is lots...

For the first time in Maine , we spent 2 nights in this cosy inn. We were welcomed by Mario and Roni, who sho showed us the inn and told about the history. Our room was superb, nice view on the surrounding fields with the local flock of turkeys and the trees in their autumn colors. A place to rest...

What an amazing week-end with a spectacular family we had. We took a two-days cooking class, and what a Class! Unforgettably great. We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights and could have not been any better, Chef Mario, Hostesses Roni and Laura treated us like family. The cuisine at dinner time was of a true authentic American-European flavor. Wow!...

Spent 2 nights at this super little inn. It was all we could have hoped for from a traditional New England retreat. Bedroom was very cosy. Supper at the Inn was delicious - good flavours and beautifully presented. Breakfast is cooked to order and was a real treat. Thank you to Roni, Mario and the lovely Lara for looking after...

Really welcoming and cosy, its more like staying in private home than a hotel. But the best part of our stay was the food, fresh, imaginative and quite delicious. The owners Anglo/Swiss background is reflected in some of their dishes, all with organic frashness Ian

I am only on my first night. I love the 17-1800's look/feel of this lovely property. On arrival, you are 6+ miles inward on Westport island near Wiscasset, Maine. Other reviewer's pegged it by saying it is remote, quiet, lovely grounds complete with chickens, goat, and a flock of local turkey's. If you need to detox from tech, expect 1...

You were so much fun to host here at our inn, and very glad you were able to "detox" and enjoy yourselves! Hope you enjoy the cheese and the watermelon next year!

Last time we stayed here we weren't even married... and there were goats on the property. This time, although I missed the goats, the chickens kept us company. Our room was big and comfortable and the dinner was superb. Grounds are gorgeous and calming and being in a great room built before 1800 still means something to me. Hosts were...
