Pretty place and the food is good. The downside was that I didn't sleep well at all. There was an unusually bright green light coming from inside of the smoke alarm in the ceiling at night, and one of the owners was walking around a lot in the room directly above mine from 3-4 am. If you are sensitive to...

We are sorry to learn through this review that Ali1660 did not sleep well during her recent two night stay here. However, there is nothing strange or unusual about our smoke detectors. In fact, our guests should rest easy at night knowing that as a licensed B&B per Maine Fire & Life Safety code, we are required by law to...

We had the most amazing three plus days (Mon. PM until Fri. AM) at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. We stayed in the Billiard Room and loved it. The weather was great! We never turned the air conditioner on and left three of the five windows open. We had our own private sitting porch. Great for sitting and reading. Su...

Andy and Su were wonderful hosts. We stayed five nights and experienced three different rooms. Our favorite was the York Harbor Suite. The ocean breeze and comfortable beds with luxury sheets made each room a pleasure to sleep in during our late June, early July stay. The breakfast offerings were all delicious and special care was taken to make sure...

Great location in York, ME. Pleasent inn keepers who make a wicked breakfast! Close to everything. Most comfortable bed we have had at any inn/hotel. Highly recommend the dinner they offer at clay hill farms, four course meal, full menu to choose from.

This was our second trip to Tanglewood Inn. The first being back in 2010. The Inn is a large Victorian era home, in fact one of the earliest ones build in York Harbor. There are several rooms to stay in. We have stayed in the Billiard Room twice. It has its own balcony with a nice view overlooking trees and...

We only stopped for one night at Tanglewood but found it quite unique. Full of old England charm and elegance with a first class service. the owners go out of their way to make this a memorable experience. The area is quiet and a good spot to explore from. We will definitely stay there again if we return to New...

Beautiful Inn! The owners were very nice and welcoming. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Very nice breakfast as well! It was somewhat cold when we visited, so that deterred us a bit, but we walked to a fine restaurant about a half mile down the road. There are some nice hiking paths in the vicinity of the inn as...
