It's been years since visiting the DC area, but this time has to be the best ever! With a family member in the military, I had the opportunity to stay at the Navy Lodge in Bethesda, Maryland. This place is truly a top-notch facility, well kept and maintained. The staff was beyond polite and willing to assist with any questions...

My wife and I stayed at the Navy Lodge for 3 nights as we moved out of our apartment in Bethesda before proceeding to our next duty station. As this Navy Lodge hosts not only the usual service members and families on assignment or leisure, but also those under care at Walter Reed hospital and foreign military members working in...

We stayed here and we're very pleased with the Navy Lodge. It was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable but pillows could have been a bit better quality. Front desk employees were always nice. Breakfast was basic but satisfying. The location was in walking distance of the NEX and it was super nice. There are not that many places to...

Everything went smoothly from reservations to check-in to check-out. We made our reservations easily online and were able to find the lodge once we got on base. The base itself is very nice and clean, many tax dollars are being spent here as is expected in the DC area for our VIPs. The check in process was quick and we...

Clean, spacious rooms conveniently located to the WRNMMC and Navy Exchange. Each unit has an efficiency kitchen, well stocked with basic kitchen utensils. Housekeeping staff extremely responsive to requests and cheerful throughout visit. The food court at the nearby Exchange offers salads, sandwiches and other casual cuisine. Management provides focused oversight and keeps the common areas very clean and hospitable....

This was a pleasant surprise. It is in a beautiful part of town and just outside the town of Chevy Chase. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean and pleasant to stay in. A definite bargain of a place to stay if you have access through the military.

Lean, well appointed rooms. We had two very comfortable queen beds and a Kitchenette for simple meal preparation. Comfy beds, nice shower, ironing board and hair dryer meet all needs. Free wifi, shuttles around the base and plenty of local eateries give many choices m

This was our 2nd time in a Navy Lodge, so I can only compare it to the other one. We were not as impressed with this Lodge: the AC in the first room we had did not work & we had to change rooms, and the bed had a mattress that rolled each us to the middle. Also, either the...

Wife and I were at Walter Reed Naval for a week of medical continuing education, and the Navy Lodge was perfect for us. Lacking: a business/computer center, worthwhile fitness room, a better breakfast, analog TV. Positives: clean rooms with coffee maker, fridge, small equipped kitchenette, helpful staff. Oh, and did I mention rates? $81/night, which in the DC area is...

Much nicer than was expected. Breakfast is sparse but there is constant, strong coffee. Laundry facilities are affordable and convenient. Not impressed with the exercise equipment at the hotel, no free weights, machines or mats, just cardio equipment packed together. Great for an extended stay.
