This is my second time staying in the Inn, and it was just great! First time Jane and Rochester with my sweet husband in 2020, and then the Marguerite and Percy with my bestie (the only room I believe that has two beds, and is a handicap room on the 1st floor) this past weekend. It does not disappoint! Cheese and wine, and a yummy breakfast...the experience is rated A+!

This was our second stay at the Inn and it's becoming an annual "treat" for my boyfriend and I. Last year we stayed in Westley and Buttercup and we just stayed in Titania and Oberon. This is why Nora is an amazing author, the attention to detail is impeccable and her passion for literature shines. Titania and Oberon was my dream to stay in and it did not disappoint. It was whimsical, romantic, luxurious and most of all relaxing. I have never had a more restful sleep, and the bathtub was chef's kiss! I have never experienced a bath so relaxing and amazing. I would love to stay in each room but I believe Titania will be my go to! For both stays, the innkeepers and staff are amazing. They are sweet and accommodating and very helpful. We checked out the Library and it was also a relaxing room. There are truly no 'cons' to staying here. The only difference between the stay last year and this year: last year we had our own personal charcuterie board to enjoy in our room and while they do not do that anymore, they now have a social hour to enjoy a charcuterie spread with other guests. We were really excited about the personal board to enjoy in our room again and were a little disappointed. Also - for breakfast the morning we left, while delicious, we had eggs, bacon and biscuit with a donut as an 'appetizer'. Again, it was delicious for what it was but last year the breakfast was decadent and more elevated. No, this would not deter me from staying again, I cannot wait to do so next year! if you are wanting to stay here, DO NOT HESITATE. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. My boyfriend and I agreed that if this Inn was in the DC/Northern VA area, it would easily be double the price. Staying here has become our treat to each other and a great overnight getaway from the kids. My boyfriend grew up in the Boonsboro area and he talked about what the building used to be, I said who knew one day you would stay overnight there lol! Thank you to the Innkeepers and most of all Nora for bringing luxury to this little corner of Maryland.

My best friend suggested a fall trip to Inn BoonsBoro last year, and our experience lived up to the anticipation. The inn is beautiful, comfortable, and has all the right amenities. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning and always had a variety of snacks and drinks available. The rooms were gorgeous and so comfortable, and the bathroom had a luxurious bath and separate shower, and robes and slippers were also included. The leaves were beautiful, and we had a lovely time relaxing, reading, and enjoying the town. Would highly recommend!

Just returned home from my annual two day stay at Inn Boonsboro. The accommodations, food and staff are outstanding, as usual. Since I'm a repeat customer, they knew I didn't drink wine, so provided me with sparkling cider to enjoy with the evening charcuterie board. I stay in the Westley and Buttercup room and love it. They also provide a selection of beverages (water and soft drinks) and packaged snacks, chips, granola bars, nuts, etc. if you want. The breakfasts were yummy with yogurt with slices of orange, garnished with chopped nuts, scrambled eggs, bacon and French toast for the first day of my stay. The second day was a blueberry corn cake, a turkey sausage, spinach, cheese and tomato frittata served with country potatoes. In a previous review, I noted that the lights over the counter in the bathroom were not very bright. This time, they had changed the bulbs so the lights were brighter. Every one was friendly, professional and made sure your stay was memorable. I look forward to my stay next year.

Dream come true. The inn is outstanding! The staff was amazing. All staff members were so polite and nice. The food was outstanding. How often do you get chocolate mousse as a starter for breakfast. Yum ! The rooms were straight out of the books. You could feel yourself immersed in the story. My husband who never read the books but fully understood the story once he saw the rooms the inn and my brief explanation. If you get the chance do not hesitate to make a reservation well worth it.

My husband and I stayed in the Penthouse Suite for two nights for our anniversary. The Inn is decorated beautifully and spotless. Our suite was gorgeous and the bathroom was a dream! The breakfasts were delicious and each had a uniqueness to it. We enjoyed the Social Hour charcuterie tray and wine. It was nice to meet the other guests staying at the Inn. We even exchanged information with a few hoping to stay in touch. The town is charming. Especially loved the bookstore and gift shop. We hope to return again soon.

I've stayed at the Inn a couple of times years ago. This is the first time I've been there since the pandemic. I have to say, the Inn is a beautiful place to stay, but the service is lacking. When I was there in the past, the staff was very friendly and attentive. They became friends by the time your stay was over. The breakfasts were amazing then and very different. This time there were a few different people working and the breakfast was ehh! We had a "dessert" every morning then there were eggs of some kind. In the past they would serve parfaits, and "exotic" breakfasts. We weren't served any fruit at all. Also, for the price we paid per night, cleaning the room daily was optional! Not acceptable.

The Inn was wonderful. The innkeeper treats you like your part of the family. If you are into antique stores or visiting National Parks this is a great place to stay. Sit back and relax in fabulous architecture and history.

This is the most difficult review I've ever written, because I could write a million words on how fabulous Inn Boonsboro was. The word perfection is paltry. I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Singapore, and this inn is way better than even one of the best hotels in the world. Elegant, intimate, supreme comfort meeting sophistication without a hint of snootiness ... it was everything we hoped it would be times 1,000!!!! Let's just list everything as superlative: service, comfort, Jameson's whiskey, wine and cheese, the SHOWER and the bathroom, the linens, the towels, the unique style of each room, the scones (I took one of the recipe cards and made scones yesterday, and even my chef friend was rapturous over them?). Breakfast was ... well, perfectly delicious. We want to come back in winter and curl up in the library with a fire, yummy leather chairs, wine and whiskey, and enjoy the Inn again. Do NOT hesitate to book here immediately.
