We spent two nights at Bruce House to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a more relaxing and beautiful place. Our second floor room provided beautiful views; church steeples and lights from the town below. It was comfortable and evertything we needed was there. The owner, Pam, remembered every detail of my dietary needs/allergies and served most...

This review will be similar to the last review on TA. Stayed for 2 nights as part of a trip to Falling Water. Great place, great host, the room (the library) was even nicer than depicted on the web site. Pam's suggestions on places to see and eat were just right.

We have just spent two nights in Cumberland staying at Bruce House. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - lovely room great shower and very pleasant breakfast. Pam was very helpful at all times and very informative on where to go. Our stay coincided with a visit to Falling Watera and we would have loved to go on the Scenic Railway...

We had a great weekend stay at this beautiful B&B. It was well located for the activities we were interested in: about a 3 minute bike ride to the start of the C&O Canal Towpath, and about 1 hour 10 minutes from the Fallingwater House. Breakfast was a special treat, and we loved indulging in nightly port and chocolate. Highly...

Beautiful home wonderful host and a delicious breakfast can all be found at the Bruce house. Also went to the Charis winery and received tasty when we mentioned staying at the Bruce house. She has some of the port available. Yum. The bed and breakfast is close area attractions but is in a very nice and quite area.

The Bruce House Inn is located within a 5 minute walk downtown. Pam is a very gracious hostess, very friendly, and very informative. We have stayed in a number of the rooms, and have not been disappointed at all. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the beds comfortable. Pam accommodated my lactose intolerance. The breakfasts were outstanding and...

The Bruce House was more reasonably priced chain hotel that was recommended to me when I scheduled a business trip to Cumberland in May. I contacted Pam before I booked to ensure she would be able to provide me with a vegan breakfast. She said yes and I was treated to a wonderful waffle and fruit breakfast with vegan sausage!...

Hi Susan! Could you provide me with more information as to the room you stayed in? All photos are accurate and we have never had any complaints that they were misleading. Also, the entire inn is air conditioned and guests are advised upon check in to let me know if it is not comfortable.

The Bruce House Inn is in a fantastic setting - up on a hill and a five minute walk from downtown restaurants. We stayed in the Library - which is quite large and has its own sitting room. The bedroom is beautiful, with intricate wood paneling. The sitting room I would describe as a little quirky, but a nice place...

My husband and I traveled to Cumberland to take in a scenic train ride this past Valentine's Day weekend (2016) and stayed at the Bruce House. Our room was the Crow's Nest. The weather for the weekend was bitter cold but, you would not have known it in the quaint home. Our room was warm, well appointed and comfortably furnished....
