Bruce House Inn was quaint little house with comfortable bed and awesome breakfast. Not much to do in Cumberland but if you like Victorian architecture, this is the place to go. Walking tour is nice as the town is very quiet. We did miss the train tour (only offered once during the day) so we'll probably return to try that...

Fifth night on the trail and we were very happy with our choice. From the time we registered through departure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was on the third floor which gave us a great view of the city. Breakfast was tasty and gave us the needed energy to get to hancock

I have been to the Bruce House Inn probably five times over a seven year period and it never fails to be a wonderful place to stay. Pam has been an excellent hostess every time. The breakfasts are delicious, she knows the area very well and she lives next door if you need anything at all. Cumberland is a pretty...

Stayed at The Bruce House Inn, while traveling from home to MI. With family history in Cumberland, MD, this was a perfect spot from which to explore this sweet mountain town. Lovely walk into the main shops/restaurant area and the view from the neighborhood is fantastic. Wonderful, friendly innkeeper who keeps a tidy house and provided a delicious breakfast. Will...

We were met by the inn keeper (Pam) at the door and shown to our room. The house was tastefully decorated and very clean. We booked the Monks Room which was very comfortable. It was also nice and cool for being a 3rd floor room ringed with windows in August. Breakfast was amazing and the service from Shay was excellent....

We stayed here on our 3rd night biking from Pittsburgh to DC. The inn is located on top of a hill but the ride uphill was totally worth the stay. The house sits atop a charming neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Sit outside and chat with folks walking their dogs. It was wonderful. The room we had was on the 3rd...

We stayed at Bruce House Inn last week while my husband rode the GAP and C&O canal. The Inn is historic yet modernized where it counts. Our Monk's room was a large one on the 3rd floor with a spacious bathroom and lots of windows. Only drawback was that it was warm for sleeping despite the window a/c, probably because...

The Bruce House Inn is a favorite location to recommend and book for my out of town guests. I booked the Robert The Bruce suite for my out of town son and his fiance - now wife's - engagement. They were thrilled! Other friends and business connections who have stayed at the inn have been equally complimentary. Though I live...

The Bruce House Inn was better than home. Not only did Pam have yummy treats when we arrived, the breakfasts were inspired and superb (near the end of our stay she let on that she had a few years of culinary school experience--it showed!). The beds were AMAZING--so soft, snuggly and the rooms were perfectly appointed. Pam recommended two restaurants...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Bruce House! I am so happy you were pleased with your stay, and that you enjoyed our dinner suggestions (you didn't mangle Ottaviani at all!). Shay is great assistant manager, I'm glad to hear she took good care of you and will make sure to pass that along...
