Since we were heading up northwest, we decided to stop off at Rocky Gap Resort.
Very last-minute. Like 45 minutes before arrival. We reserved a room online while we were on the road. Love technology. And my iPhone. So convenient.
Available was the Deluxe Resort...More
This was the worst hotel experience I have EVER had. To begin with the hotel room and beds are equivalent to a motel room in decoration and comfort, but our rom had a strange smell in it as well. However, the WORST part of the...More
Every time I visit, the staff is exceptionally pleasant and the valet service is above what one would expect. I live only an hour away and visit the slots weekly. Rocky Gap offers great promotions. The only downfall I see is that I personally don't...More
My family really enjoyed this trip. I purchased on Groupon & it was worth it. I wish we could have stayed for 2-3 nights. This was just a little getaway before school begins.
We enjoyed sitting outside by the water. I normally don't eat buffets....More
The visit started off on the wrong foot, we were given a room already in use, big surprise when we opened the door! The front desk quickly resolved the issue. The resort rooms seem a little older but clean. We had a beautiful view of...More

There are 6 floors, but the lobby is technically on the 2nd floor. So there are rooms on floors 2 thru 6.
There are two types of rooms, Mountain View and Resort View. Mountain View rooms face the lake and mountains. Resort view rooms face the parking lot and golf course.
The concierge floor is on the 6th floor and gets you the following upgrades:
Rooms are basically the same layout as other floors but with better views due to being on the top floor.
Upgraded Bathroom products - soap, shampoo, etc.
open bar happy hour in the concierge lounge in the evening
Limited Hot breakfast with coffee and danishes in the morning
IMO worth the price to upgrade if rooms are available.
