Just spent two nights at Taincwm and feel completely pampered and relaxed. Alison welcomed me and showed me to my room which was charming. It was at the front of the house so has amazing views and was spacious and had lots of little touches, such as a tea tray and lovely linen to make one feel luxurious. The shower was hot, the bed amazingly comfortable and the breakfast was generous and full of choice. Alison is the perfect hostess and had a log fire burning in the sitting room each evening when I arrived back each evening. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

My brother and I had a room each this weekend in this lovely house. Alison was a lovely host. As well as our bedrooms, we had a sitting room, which makes a eral difference. It's lovely to have somewhere light, airy and comfortable to sit, chat, watch TV. The house was spotless. Both rooms were really comfortable and well appointed. A fridge on the landing had water and milk in. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, generous, and there was so much to choose from. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a short break at this lovely old farmhouse in the stunning countryside. Our host,Alison, was extremely welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable . The lovely cooked breakfasts set us up for the day and we enjoyed exploring the area.(visited Newquay and the NT goldmines at Doaulcothi) Our dog was also made most welcome and we all loved the guest lounge complete with log burner and Sky TV for relaxing evenings. We also had use of a fridge just on the landing by our room with complementary soft drinks and lager ! The views across the valley are beautiful and there are local walks as well as a big enclosed garden to relax in . We hope to return later in the year, a really special place.

We had a lovely stay for my husband's 50th birthday, Alison at Taincwm is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble for her, whatever we requested, she went over and beyond to help. On our arrival, she had set up the table in the lounge for our Indian Take-away which we had informed her before our arrival, and as she knew it was a special occasion for us she had even provided us with a complimentary bottle of Asti Martini. Breakfast was totally amazing, plenty of choice for us - whatever we wanted, and a cooked breakfast which was cooked with local produce - we didn't eat for the rest of the day!!! We would highly recommend Taincwm as a B&B, but even more, we would highly recommend Alison as a great, fabulous, kind host. Thank you so much Alison for a great stay.

We visited Taincwm half way through a tour of Wales in our campervan for a little peace, relaxation and comfort and we weren’t disappointed. On our arrival we were greeted by Alison who was simply lovely throughout our stay and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The bedroom was lovely and the advantage of having a separate lounge was perfect. Coming back of an evening to a roaring fire and watching a film was just lovely. The breakfast was delicious and there was such a variety which would suit any visitors. My 13 year old daughter described it as amazing!! Location wise was spot on. Half an hour drive to New Quay and perfectly quiet. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night...thank you Alison
