I prepaid and stayed 7 days at this hotel because it was cheaper to rent a room in Laurel than to stay in DC.

Stayed here a few nights ago.
The room was spacious, very clean and the bed and pillow were very comfortable.
The hot breakfast was good as well.

There are very short drives to restaurants, but I honestly wouldn't recommend walking to them (although it is certainly short enough to walk). The main highway is right in front of the hotel, which poses a safety concern. I wouldn't say the area is unsafe, but I wouldn't go back with my three children because you could tell that it was not the best of areas. It's a shame because the hotel owner was exceptional and the actual hotel stay was nice.
