I had to stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites for business reasons and really liked the service and quality of the accommodation. Unlike some older properties in Laurel, this hotel is still new and feels fresh.
This was a nice hotel tucked back behind the Laurel race track. I use the handicap accessible rooms which was very nice. It seems newly renovated and all things were pretty clean and neat. The problem here is the Wi-fi flat out sucks. I don't...More
We booked a room at this hotel for one night. Check in took a bit longer than normal since they had given my room to someone else. I was glad the AC worked in the room because the rest of the hotel felt like a...More

There are very short drives to restaurants, but I honestly wouldn't recommend walking to them (although it is certainly short enough to walk). The main highway is right in front of the hotel, which poses a safety concern. I wouldn't say the area is unsafe, but I wouldn't go back with my three children because you could tell that it was not the best of areas. It's a shame because the hotel owner was exceptional and the actual hotel stay was nice.
