I don't think there are any differences other than the floor in the room itself. Really a preference. My mom, who is on a walker, prefers ground floor so she can get around and in case of fire she can get out. However, there are meeting rooms and the exercise room and lobby and breakfast room, etc. on this floor and it may be too noisy/active for some. I would guess some first floor rooms could have car lights shine in as people park. Top floor may be noisy too due to location near airport (I stayed on the 4th floor and wasn't really bothered - only noticed them one or twice in a 6 night stay). Note that the rooms do NOT have microwaves if that is important to you. Dining in the area is limited if you are staying more than a night or two. Ice machines are only on odd numbered floors (1, 3, 5) if that is important to you as well. No vending machines, you have to go to their "bar" area on the first floor for a coke or snack. Hope that helps.
