We were also in the camper area for the July 16 weekend; 15th thru 18th. We could have not been happier with the whole experience. We thought the noise levels were very low and most campers were very considerate of others. Camper areas were very spacious and we were surprised how must area each site had; wooded areas between each....

We stayed over the weekend. My husband asked for a spot that was out of the way so we could enjoy nature. Instead we were placed very near the entrance, store, and pool so we could hear all of the traffic. The campsites are crammed in and although the "rules" state that campers should do nothing to disturb other campers,...

For the second year in a row, I've gone to Little Orleans Campground for the holiday weekend. And for the second year in a row, I've had a great time. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful; the camp store is well stocked; the two pools were fun and refreshing; and they've done a great job at creating...

The campground is overall very welcoming, shaded, and run by nice people. The store was good for what we needed and there's a pool. The showers were adequate, could have been cleaner/less moldy, but the water was hot, which was what really mattered. I only wish we had known about how steep and treacherous the road up to the campground...

Our first whole weekend at Little Orleans Campground could not have been more perfect. The tent sites near the creek are very private, and the setting is a nature lover's dream. We were there for the Blue Moon. There are two pools, a playground, lots of green space for sports, a basketball court and a volleyball net. With fishing, hiking,...

My boyfriend was boating with friends down the Potomac from Paw Paw, WV to Little Orleans, MD and we wanted a nearby campground as home base. They had last-minute availability on a holiday weekend, so we decided to give it a try. Pros: large, flat campsites; well-stocked camp store; social events; affordable rates; friendly staff. Cons: campsite area is a...

I've been making a yearly trip to Little Orleans Campground with friends each June since 2010 and plan to continue the tradition. We always have a great time and we have found the staff helpful, the accommodations clean, and the scenery beautiful. Over the years we've seen some great wildlife, too (birds, turtles, even a porcupine).

Campground is lushly wooded and pleasant. However, be forewarned that there is blaring outdoor music until 11:00 pm on Saturdays, not what one would expect from a family campground. Not sure it is wise to try to run a campground and a loud music venue in one.

My husband, niece, her husband, their three kids, and I spent the first weekend in October in a cabin. The activities for the children were amazing---fun, well-organized, and constant. There was always something to do---pumpkin carving, playground, crafts, bingo, trick-or-treating, etc. One of my great-nieces had an allergic reaction to something and the staff was very helpful in getting the...
