We just happened across this place as we were headed west. We just stayed one night and for breakfast and it was delightful. Very friendly staff and good food. The one and only drawback...it's a little difficult to find at night so if you're not familiar with the area make sure you have GPS--but it's worth it!

My wife and I were looking for a B&B near the great allegheny passage to do some biking on our anniversary weekend. We are history buff's and really look for something with a story to tell. The castle does not disappoint. Started in 1840 the house has a ton of history. The greatest thing is cell phones do not have...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night after she competed in a nearby race event in western MD. It was out first b&b experience. From start to finish, we were blown away. Both Tony and his wife Judy were very friendly and easy to communicate with over email and the phone. Upon arrival we were greeted, shown on...

We were given a weekend away to the Castle Bed and Breakfast by my parents for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted by Tony, one of the owners; he showed us around and offered us a glass of wine. That was the beginning of a very relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed the food and setting very...

My wife and I just came back from a 3 night stay at the Castle. This was our 6th visit and every time we feel like we are transported to a different world. It is definitely an old world style place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just relax and enjoy each other's...

My family drove past the Castle 3 years ago while visiting the Cumberland and Frostburg areas. I said "What's that?" and when I found out (I think by doing an internet search after we returned home) it was a bed and breakfast, decided I wanted to stay there someday. The time finally came this year! The occasion was my birthday,...

In November I attempted to make a reservation with this bed and breakfast I found over the internet. The third party website did not link me to the hotel website but gave me an email. The owner Judi took down my credit card information but did not give me a reservation becuase she did not respond to my emails. She...

My husband and I just returned from a one-night stay at this romantic, lovely bed and breakfast to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We paired the visit with drives through charming historic Frostburg and Cumberland and the Castle Bed and Breakfast was the perfect place for our little getaway. We stayed in the St. Andrew's room, with queen-size bed with crisp,...

My wife an I arrived a little late but before 7 pm for our two day getaway. Something we needed to do for a long time. When we entered the owners were not around so we looked around before going to our room. We noticed a dog hair brush on the kitchen counter...intant turn-off. Also place was a bit dingy....

My husband and I were looking for a special 40th Anniversity...we had a wonderful, fantastic time and the Castle. From the second we arrived to the time we left we were treated to a romantic room, wonderful kindness and friendship from Judi and Tony.
