Don't miss this fall season. We stayed at the Quality Inn Boardwalk the first week of November. What a blast. Our time was too short. Nice property, friendly people, great restaurant on site. And what a view! Walk the boardwalk, visit friendly restaurants and bars with drinks to go. We were in a group of about 30 and we had a great time social distancing and seeing friends at a distance. . The best time in OC MD is the fall. We will go back next year.
Room was ok, did not get warm feeling when walking into room. Room was presentable but pillow looked warn out. Few hairs in tub. Quarter found next to bed. Since COVID we decided to wipe down high touched areas. Did not notice the mold until we completed clean and ready to relax. Nice view from balcony, but had noisy neighbor. Should have paid extra for another hotel. On a side note never seen anyone clean tables at hotel bar.
I decided to take my daughter and grandson for a quick trip to the beach before summer was over. We booked a room on Hotels.com and let’s just say it was nothing like the pictures, small and dirty. After getting in late Tuesday night and not being able to sleep we got some Starbucks and I ventured into the Quality Inn. I was greeted by Donelle who was super friendly, informative, and professional. I didn’t have my credit card on me but we ended up coming back to book a room for the next 2 days. Donelle went above and beyond to assure our visit would be the best and he’s definitely an asset to The Quality Inn on the Boardwalk. He got us into a room immediately with an ocean view, on the floor and building I wanted. All the staff are super friendly and respectful. You can see cleaning going on non stop and Peter at the restaurant Coastal Salt was just as great. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you for making our first family trip to the beach unforgettable. We will always stay here. I actually use to come here as a little girl, which made me walk in the doors today and couldn’t have been more blown away by the staff and management. Look forward to seeing you next year!…
We arrived late July to check in. Upon our arrival to check in we noticed it was very outdated and stuffy. We went up tour room, opened the door and was hit with a wall of heat and humidity. The AC was not on. Nor could it be, because the sliding doors to the balcony were broken and not closed the whole way. The sensor that sensing if the door is closed was broken off. This sensor will allow the ac to run. There was such a huge amount of mold in the ac unit and on the ceiling. There were huge drops of water hanging from the ceiling. There was still food on the ground. I went back downstairs to tell them there was NO way we would stay in the room. They seemed surprised at my complaint. Impossible they did not know that room had mold problems. I asked how the cleaning person would not let the desk know the ac was not working? they swore they had just been in the room cleaning. That's either false, or they just didn't care. This room was such a hazard to your health. I asked for my money back as I was not staying anywhere on this poorly managed property. They did issue me a full refund. I went next door to the Holiday and had a gorgeous room!!! They said they were in the business of rescuing people from the Quality Inn. No surprise there. I was going to pay top dollar of 1200 for 3 nights. Pay a small amount more and head next door! Furthermore, masks "recommended".…
I stayed here for bike week and I picked the right hotel to stay at. The room was perfect for my family and I. Two queen beds on the fourth floor that were plenty comfortable. A good size bathroom, the hot water was hot. It had a full kitchen, full size refrigerator, stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, can opener, microwave, coffee maker, all the utensils, plates, glasses and pots and pans. It got a little cool outside and we couldn't turn off the air, so I went to the front desk and they sent a maintenance person right away to fix it. Because of Covid-19, they don't do room service, but they'll exchange your towels and take your trash. That was fine for me, I didn't care about new sheets everyday. They'll change that too if requested. The tiki bar was perfect. The indoor pool was nice. Didn't use the outdoor pool because it was cool out. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It's close enough to everything that you can walk or ride a bike to by Boardwalk or to restaurants near by. I will definitely stay here again!…
