One of the most ideal and premium located hotels in Ocean City. Sitting on the Boardwalk with a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Souvenirs, shops, burgers, ice cream and candy all located on property! Grab the boardwalk tram or the city bus located on both sides of the hotel. An outdoor swimming pool, an in house restaurant and a customer friendly staff. Park your car and experience the entire beach resort by foot. It can't get any more convenient. From your private balcony, enjoy the sounds and smells of the ocean from the water, seagulls, suntan lotions and the food!

My wife and I stayed here for my birthday weekend in April. We wanted a beachfront view overlooking the boardwalk and that's exactly what we got. The room was fine and clean upon our arrival. This wasn't a 5 star experience but that was fine because the hotel didn't advertise itself as 5 star. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

The good - Some staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is great. I got a partial view room and it was still a nice view of the ocean and the city from a very spacious balcony. Plus there is an actual hot breakfast made to order that is included. The Bad - The hotel itself and the level of cleaning need a makeover. Bathrooms seemed clean, but one of the beds had someones hair still on it - so either the staff took a nap or they never changed the sheets. Furniture was beat up or from the 80s, flooring looked patched together from different decades. Shower heads sprayed water everywhere but down. If you care about location and price over modernization, this is a great hotel right on the beach and boardwalk. It suited me fine for a night, and they allow dogs with a reasonable fee.

We chose this location based on the many reviews of cleanliness and friendly staff, plus it was fairly inexpensive. Word of advice....don’t believe everything you read for reviews unless you’ve actually been to the place! This hotel was far from clean (thank gif I brought my own cleaning supplies) and the staff.....all seemed bothered or annoyed to be “working.” We entered our room (mind you still in a pandemic) and there was trash from the previous ppls stay in the room, cigarette ashes, used bong water in the dresser drawer and more! We did all of our own cleaning since they didn’t have any other rooms bf asked to not have anyone come back and touch our room. While sitting on the bed, we noticed our feet were filthy from walking barefoot in the room and then BAM....our curtains to the balcony literally fell out of the ceiling! Went to use the jacuzzi tub....took forever to fill up and then low and behold.....it didn’t even work! There was a couple friendly staff but most there seemed annoyed and bothered when spoken to. Definitely would NOT recommend this place. The ONLY good thing was the location which was mid boardwalk. We were credited our stay but super unhappy that a 7 hour drive led to this...

We had to re-clean our bathroom. There was dirt and particles that were not clean when we arrived. Our balcony door did not lock and drawers for the dressers/nightstand did not fully close. The coffee table was wobbly and not usable. Sadly, people that checked in our night there were pot smokers and we couldn't keep our balcony door open.

Response from Kathy Reardon, Other at Paradise Plaza Inn
Responded 1 week ago
I am very sorry that you encountered some problems. There is a safety arm on all balconies doors that can be lowered into place to secure the balcony door from opening from the outside. We do not allow smoking of any kind on our property. If we had been notified of the situation, we would have advised the guests that were smoking that it is not allowed. I have notified the Housekeeping Manager of the condition that you room was in upon check in so that she may bring it to the attention of her staff.
