We wanted a non-smoking room, but room was clearly a smoking room because there was even an ashtray in the room. My eyes were burning all night. Smelled absolutely horrible like cigarette smoke. Spilled a small bit of water on the laminate floor, and when we wiped it up with a white washcloth the cloth was filthy, dark and dirty....

A one-night business trip brought me to Princess Anne. Unfamiliar with the area, I booked a stay here because it was very close to where I needed to be for work the next day. I thought it was fine and got basically what I expected for the price I paid. I arrived late at night and had to ring the...

Because there are only 2 hotels in the princess anne area close to UMES, this is by far the best of the 2. The lady at the front desk is always very friendly and accommodating to ones needs. The continential breakfast is ok something to get you through until you get a meal. The rooms have always been neat &...

It's okay for a one night stay when there were no rooms available in ANY of the hotels in the surrounding area. The rooms were fairly clean, albeit not the cleanest. The front desk staff was unorganized upon arrival, and the cops showed up to the hotel at like midnight which was a little disconcerting, although I don't think it...

Nice place. Clean and seemed recently renovated. One of only a few decent places in that area. Quite remote. Woman at desk was very friendly. Free breakfast available but didn't try it....was very crowded.

We had car trouble while on our way home from vacation. The owners were extremely helpful, went above and beyond to help us. Most any other hotel would not want to bother. Thank you! The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised - very clean, updated room. Relatively quiet place. Attentive staff. Good breakfast. Someone clearly cares about this property - the pool and landscaping are very lovingly maintained. We slept great and they take dogs - with good area in back to walk our labs. Great deal!

Room was roomy and appeared to be clean. My husband and I had a comfortable rest there while visiting family nearby. Happy the non-smoking room was indeed non-smoking and lodge was generally quiet. Recommend for travelers who want an inexpensive bed.

Well, it did have a roof. Actually it looked like there have been some improvements. Bedding was nice, it had a flatscreen tv, fridge, microwave. However the room smelled like smoke. It was overwhelming. We should have asked for a different room, but we checked in late and were very tired. Management was nice, check in was easy, and it...
