We rented 1 of 5 camp sites at this campground. The site was clean and tucked away (as much as it could have been) from the RV sites. It was close to the bathrooms and showers (which were very clean) as well as the beach (10 minute slow walk). We were able to bring our dog which was a bonus.

My wife and I loved it there. Bicycle, sit by the canal watch the boats or sit at the beach, close to restaurant's, or just relax at your site. Big campsites are easy to park your rig. Plenty of space between site's. This was our first time there and we will definitely return next year.

We visited at low tide on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded at all. The bathrooms are decent and the toilets were very clean for a beach bathroom. The water was clear and shallow enough that it wasn't freezing. The beach is rocky in parts (although I have seen far worse). My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful afternoon. We didn't...

Hubby & I recently spent an awesome summer afternoon lounging and swimming at this beach. Its actually a state reservation with camp grounds as well. It's located where the Cape Cod Canal opens into Massachusetts Bay. The shoreline is quiet long with lots of space for everyone, even on a hot summer day. There's a HUGE parking lot along with...

Beach is clean. We had a blast, there is some rocks but still ok. Has a food court and bathrooms. Also a place to wash up after being on the beach. Has bike racks too. Up of state is $14.00 to get in.

If your looking for a peaceful camping place this is it! If your looking for convienance of having lots of amenities, this is not for you. Small basic campground on the canal and walking distance to the beach. Three womans showers for the entire campground. Very quiet, mostly retired campers. We loved the seritity.

We were staying at nearby Shawme Cromwell which gave us access to this park as well. We decided to stop by and enjoy the beach for the afternoon. Check in for the campground is right as you go in and then you have to drive about half a mile to the campground. The campground is a glorified parking lot, but...

While it was difficult to reserve a site here due to 6 month to the day rental window, I think it was worth it, one of the campground staff helped me out with this personally, don't remember her name but she was great. Overall it was a great location for visiting the Cape, you didn't have the traffic problems if...

We are a family of six that love the beach! As a parent it is so fun to watch your children jump waves, build sand castles, and explore nature. What isn't fun, is no bathrooms, little amenities and zero parking. I'm glad to say Scusset Beach has none of those problems! For a $14 entrance fee, you are greeted to...

Location is wonderful, on the state side of the Cape Cod Canal so no traveling over the bridge. Nice breeze at all times. Campground is small and quiet. One of the only area campgrounds that let you book less than a week in the summer. A few very disappointing aspects: 1. the administration staff at check-in were indifferent and grumpy...
