First, ignore the negative reviews, pure divas expecting resort lifestyle on beer budgets. I've stayed here many times as a tent camper, and the tent sites around the marsh are awesome (but by night 3 you ay wan to go on a frog hunt!!) Now staying there with a travel trailer, and have found the sites to be comfortable, not...

There is a reason they have been in business since 1958 - excellent campground and friendly staff. Our site was nice, quiet and plenty big enough. The grounds were immaculate and even in late September, there seemed to be an abundance of staff making sure all was in order. Thanks to a great week. Brian and Lisa Peterson

We've been coming here for several years and have recommended it to friends. We love the place and Brewster in general. The seasonal area doesn't look as great but the side we are on is really nice. Hubby also loves fishing in the pond.

We had a shaded site with plenty of space between sites. The showers are free and hot. The employees were friendly and helpful. We had a site with water and electric, just a short walk to the bathhouse. I did think the walk to the bathhouse from most of the tent sites was a bit long. This isn't one of...

Spacious, wooded campsites. Perfect for us! Horses when you pull in - beautiful to see! No pool but we don't use public pools anyway. If you are true "campers", then this is the place for you. We had a double site (C20A/B) and it was roomy and private. Took our 3 dogs for long walks. Exactly the kind of place...

My husband, 2 young daughters and I had the privilege of staying at Sweetwater Forest Campground over Labor Day weekend. Our girls are 4 and 2, and it was their first time camping. I was a little nervous since I booked this trip sort of last minute and it was a holiday weekend, but I could not have been more...

We had a great long weekend here! Every staff person we talked to was very sweet and wonderful. We also took advantage of the reasonably priced canoe rentals. Since this was our first visit, they sent us a map and information on the weekend. Service was great and overall it's a nice campground with personality. Look for the hidden gnomes...

Loved this campground. Very convenient and the owners were very helpful. The dog boarding for only $3.00 an hour came in handy when we took the camper to the beach for a few hours. Facilities were very clean and the setting was lovely. Be sure to take a boat ride on the lake.

Sweetwater is a very clean, nicely spaced, friendly campground. they have a nice little kennel for the dogs and treat them very well. They are a first rate place as campgrounds go, however, what sets them apart is the fact that they went way out of their way to help us when we had multiple trailer problems which were fixed...

Thank you so much for sharing your story. During the off-season we take a break & go camping! We too have had problems with our RV, and endured the "not my problem" approach to the situation when we asked employees for assistance in at least finding a repair shop. It was another camper who, happens to camp at Sweetwater Forest...

We camped here two nights in a tent and loved it. It is very well organized and provides a lot of benefits like wooded sights, camp store, rec room, and a great location mid cape close to the bike path. Bathrooms were not as great as other reviewers have said but it rained both days we were there so difficult...

“Best in the area: Cottage Bakery in Orleans (their "Dirtbomb" muffins sell out by noon each day), Ice Cream Cafe in Orleans (best home-made ice cream on the Cape!), Brewster Store (an institution in its own right), and Nauset Lobster Pool (pick out which ones you want and they will cook them while you wait).”
