Everything about the Ship's Knees including the warm and welcoming owners, their staff , location and extra amenities offers a completely satisfying stay on the Cape. The Inn provides many special touches, a breakfast unlike any I've experienced at an Inn or B&B before, availability of chairs & boogie boards to take to the beach, a pool, beautiful landscaping and...

Two lovely patios, one with a fireplace, for enjoying either in the evening or in the morning while you enjoy coffee and your breakfast. Beautifully landscaped. The room we enjoyed, a king bedroom graciously upgraded from a queen when there were just a few customers that day, was beautifully appointed without being overly elaborate.

We've returned to the Ship's Knees Inn during July for the past five years or so, and have to say we really have enjoyed our stays. Of course we love the cape, and in particular this area. There is so much to do, great beaches, dining and shopping. That said, it's nice to have a place that feels so welcoming...

My friend and I chose one of the two rooms which share a bathroom as we are both budget-concious at the moment. I've stayed at a few B&B's in the past, one of which was right down the road from Ship's Knees but about a mile farther from the beach, and I still feel that it was the best value...

We absolutely loved the Ship's Knees Inn. It is in a residential area, about five minutes drive to downtown Orleans. It is serene, amid a lot of shade trees and some comfortable chairs (and two hammocks) spread around the property. The swimming pool is a good size is surrounded by trees that give it a serenity as well as some...

Incredible location, characterful rooms, charming hosts. An excellent choice for anyone looking for value and and an AMAZING beach / pool combo on the Cape. Refuel with an ample breakfast every morning (gluten heavy!), warm up by the fire pit in the evening. We're already planning our next trip.

Our adult children joined us once again for a wonderful time at the Inn, an easy walk to the beach, and short drive to Cape Cod Baseball league games. The beach is superb...soft white sand, miles for walks and spotting seals. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and equipped with the basics needed for a fun family holiday.

My wife and I stayed over July 4th week and were more than happy with our choice. From check in to check out the Inn's staff were great....our room was comfortable (kingbed) w/ private bath.....close to Nauset Beach ...just a walk down from the Inn. Weather was great 90 + every day and the Inn's pool was great when we...

It's charming but the rooms are so small that it's impossible to open your suitcase. The ceilings are very low and if it's cold and you can't open the window you'll miss fresh air during the night. The worst thing was that it was impossible to see the owner. We arrived at 8 p.m. the first night and 7 p.m...

Good Day Iordanka, First we must apologize in that you found very little of the Ship's Knees Inn to your liking. We also feel that attempting to review a property almost 9 months after you've stayed with us is a difficult task itself. While we agree that ceilings in the 1820 historic main inn do not meet the ceiling heights...
