My husband and I had never been to Cape Cod or stayed at a bed and breakfast, so decided we wanted to do both. We found Inn on the Sound on line and it was as good as we had hoped. Jan was very helpful in providing directions and recommendations for places to eat, we were not disappointed. We stayed...

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Inn on the Sound for two nights. What a wonderful spot! Have only outstanding things to say about the stunning location, accommodating and welcoming service, the very friendly and informative host, our beautiful, clean room, and the exceptionally delicious food! It's a terrific find and we can't wait to go back.

We are from MA and wanted a little getaway. First time here. Very quiet although it must have been time of the year. A couple of great restaurants within walking distance. Water view was perfect to wake up to in the morning and watch at sunset. The breakfast was so wonderful and abundant that I couldnt eat again until 8pm....

This is a wonderful inn. The location is great, with gorgeous views of the water and close to beach areas. It's comfortably elegant, non-fussy and classy. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the fireplace each evening during the cold late March evenings, the homemade biscotti, etc. What really stands out about this inn is the attention to detail and the...

I found The Inn on the Sound online and booked it strictly from their web site. I did not do detailed research. This place is outstanding - I got lucky!!! I needed a room quickly hence I did not look far; wanted to find a B&B in town. If you are looking you need not look further. The inn is...

This is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast, with the most amazing views of the Sound, overlooking Martha's Vineyard. The location is great, and the accommodations were top notch. Jan and Howard are wonderful hosts, with lots of information about the area, including restaurants ( the good ones and where to avoid), sightseeing diversions and how to get around on the...

We stayed at The Inn on the Sound this past October for one day, but really enjoyed our brief stay. The room was nice, although staying in the Deer Pond room, you can hear a lot of voices in the morning, since the room is next to the hallway and stairs. The room itself was very comfortable, and Howard and...

This is a great place - the view is wonderful (directly on the water), the rooms are really good and the hosts Jan and Howard go right out of their way to make you feel at home. We stayed 3 nights here and we could easily come back and spend a week. With a car you could use this a...
