We selected this hotel mostly because of its' proximity to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The rooms are large and very clean. A continental breakfast is served in "The Barn" which has an adjoining courtyard. The Barn could use a little refreshing with some new cushions on the furniture. There are some restaurants a short distance away but most of...

Our first stop in New England. So friendly, great rooms, good breakfast arrangements, location really convenient. You can walk from the hotel and pick up the ferry to Martha's Vineyard or straight up the main street to access all the shops and restaurants or beaches.

Coming from Europe via Boston, I booked more or less in desperation because it appeared from the online schedules that I'd miss the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. As it happened, the "Bonanza" bus driver made an extra effort, called the Steamship Authority and went to Woods Hole first (before Falmouth), so people could make the last ferry. If only I'd...

We are so pleased that all worked out for you. Not sure why your taxi ride from the bus station to the Inn took more than a half hour as it's only 2 miles away. Hmmm. Thank you and we look forward to your next stay.

Had a lovely stay at the Red Horse Inn, welcomed by Cindy who is fantastic, just lovely and very helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable, perhaps a little outdated if you are worried about that kind of thing. Would recommend anyone to stay here, breakfast was really tasty and there are trays to take food back to you...

This is the cutest little place. The rooms are a little on the small size but makes up for it in the cuteness factor and cleanliness The floors are hardwood and has a Jacuzzi tub. The temps were in the 60's at night and we were able to open up the windows. It also had a gas fireplace for that...

Only stayed there one night, but I would definitely go back. Check in was smooth and simple. Cindy made me LAUGH!! What a treat she was! There were lots of maps and info booklets in the office, too. Room was fine. Very big and clean. Had a bit of a weird smell, but that wasn't a big deal. The hotel...

The Red Horse Inn is a small quaint adorable place. If you want to take the ferry to Martha's Vinyard, this is the place to stay. They sell discounted ferry tickets and it is only a quick 5 minute walk to the ferry. Even better, they allowed us to leave our car at the hotel so we avoided a parking...
