Having traveled all around the world, we have stayed in everything from 1-star to 5-star motel/hotels. The Wingaersheek motel is an over-priced dive of Gloucester. The owner, Roger [--] is a real estate agent who treats this property as if he's a slum lord. He obviously handles several rental properties. The property is in high need of basic maintenance. The...

I am a former Gloucester Resident and I was traveling with my wife and young child to visit family. We stayed in suite 10 and I have to say it was pleasantly surprised at not only clean and neat everything was hut how big the room was. It was actually larger then our first apartment. The theme of the room...

We stayed at the Wingaersheek Motel a couple of days ago. It is located right off MA128 and few minutes away from Gloucester center. We had cottage 9 which was very clean and immaculate. I must mention the thoughtful tasteful decor. Everything is done very tastefully and in beach colors! No luxury frills but everything you need. Would definitely stay...

When we arrived, it was late and during a blizzard, but the owners were still available to give us our key. I didn't actually meet them- my boyfriend got out of the car to get the key. He was home on a short leave and the owners were kind enough to give us a military discount. When we walked in...

My husband and I stayed in the second floor rooms called #10. Very quaint, loved the fireplace. Clean and convenient. Nice water pressure, good Wi-Fi connection. Friendly staff. The road noise from Rt. 128 was a downside, but it wouldn't be enough to keep us from staying here again. A very sufficient number of towels and linens, too. We love...

Easy to find off the highway. I was given a better room than I booked, so a nice surprise - room 11. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Everything you need to cook a meal is supplied - cutlery and crockery, comfy bed, hot shower, hairdryer and wifi, so good value. Only thing I will make comment on, was...

The beds were very comfy and the rooms were very clean. It is in quite a good location as far as proximity to the places that we wanted to see. We...

We had saved extra money for our family trip over several years to go this time. We are husband and wife with three children, ranging in age from 11 to 24. We have stayed at several places in Gloucester past 23 yrs.but, this time we decided to choose somewhere else to accommodate our older children. Our choice of stay and...

My husband and I stayed in their cabin style (#11) room and found it to be spacious, clean, comfortable, well stocked and perfect for our week in the area. The staff was extremely personable and gracious. The directions provided were clear and concise and the rate was extremely reasonable. We will definitely visit there again!

We used this venue as the overflow hotel for our wedding, as it was located quite near to our venue. Overall, it was fine, and the location (<1 mile to our venue) was fabulous. However, our guests found it slightly price-y, and adequate and good, but nothing special, and quite near to the highway with rooms that were adequate. A...
