My two daughters and I recently stayed in the Jonathan Foote Suite which was perfect for us. The Innkeeper greeted us warmly and showed us to the cookies and coffee in the dining room. The Inn keepers were wonderful and the lovely dog was well behaved- not a jumper. The rooms were comfortable with easy chairs, plenty of light and...

When attending performances at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, we love staying at the Jonathan Foote 1778 House, which is conveniently located nearby. The innkeepers, Joanne and Bruce, are warm, welcoming and attentive. They make us feel so special each time we arrive. The intimate, charming rooms are beautifully appointed and meticulously clean. And, the house is always quiet and restful....

We stayed at Jonathan Foote on the last night of what has been a wonderful tour of New England. It was certainly a very special way to end our trip. The house itself has so much charm and character, whilst still having all of the amenities that make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Joanne and Bruce were so welcoming...

My wife and I stayed for two nights in early October 2011 at the Jonathan Foote 1778 House. It was a terrific stay. The Inn Keepers, Joann and Bruce, are very nice and make you feel as if the Inn is your own home. Their Golden Retriever Celli greets everyone and adds to the feeling. We stayed in the Rose...

From being greeted by "Ceildh" the retriever to JoAnn's complimentary cookies, this is a real find in a wonderful area of Massachusetts. The House is a historical treasure and the Innkeepers, JoAnn & Bruce will make you so welcome you will not want to leave. great furniture, atmosphere and ambience-big old beds and really helpful and friendly innkeepers. A bit pricey and the breakfasts (referred to as hearty in the Lonely Planet) were a on the light side but tasty and good quality. Free chocies for the children and amazing complementary brandy!
