We came across this inn by chance and couldn't believe our luck, we stayed in a beautiful suite which was extremely clean, spacious and very elegant . This family run Inn and Lenox itself was the highlight of our trip around New England, the home made breakfast was fabulous and the attention to detail in everything was first class, the...

"KOSHER-ISH" is how Michele describes the food...no pork, no shellfish. As I'm shellfish-anaphylactic this was great for me. The foid is fantastic and so is the hospitality. This place is friendly and fun. The bedroom had free sweets in a jar and chocolates by the coffee maker. The extremely comfortable bed was made even cosier by the teddy bear in...

We recently returned from a 3-night stay at this wonderful Inn. This was our second time at Gateways, so obviously we really liked our first stay, and our second stay was every bit as great. The Inn is a lovely restored mansion in a perfect location in the heart of Lenox - we were able to walk to Tanglewood (about...

I stayed at the Gateways Inn in Lenox MA over July 4th weekend 2014. What a charming Bed & Breakfast in the heart of the Berkshires. My room was well appointed, crisp & clean. Care was taken to make sure my stay surpassed my own expectations. I ate at the restaurant every night even though there are many other options...

We recently spent a delightful weekend at the Gateways Inn. The innkeepers, Eiran and Michele, as well as their staff went out of their way to assure that we had every possible comfort. The residence was filled with charm and was an easy walk to the specialty shops of historic Lenox as well as a very close drive to Tanglewood....

I was unaware that any Inn or Hotel could charge above their highest published rate, was did the Gateways inn. In addition, they added in a 5% service charge that was not stated upfront. Also for the price paid ($400 per night), one would thin that you were receiving top notch service and high quality food. The rooms for our...

I am so glad you mention how immaculately clean our rooms are, and that you enjoyed the music in our lounge. The fact that you decided to ignore the special (higher) rates posted for the 4th of July weekend, as well as our clearly stated policies advising guests about our service charges, and the confirmation email you received upon making...

As far as bed and breakfasts are concerned, you can't get better than this. Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Fantastic bathroom. VERY QUIET! (We stayed in a room behind the bar. We never heard a peep, it was sound proofed so well!) They had live music at night, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is perfect, right in the heart of...

I frequently stay at B&B's when traveling on weekends and just spent an enchanted family reunion at the Gateways Inn, which is a landmark hotel in the heart of Lenox. All the charming rooms are named after characters in Shakespearean plays. My mother and sister booked a one bedroom ("Portia", max occupancy: 2 guests) a few months back, when I...

Just enjoyed a fabulous weekend. Lenox is a lovely town and staying at an inn just a quick walk into town made it that much better. The Inn was impeccable, our room cozy and comfortable and the food was delicious. The Inn keepers are warm, personable, and make you feel like family. The home-made granola was a great first course...
