My husband and I recently completed a 2 night stay at the Birchwood Inn and, boy was it difficult to leave!! We stayed in the recently renovated Dana room with its beautiful ( and very comfortable) king size four poster bed. The room was tastefully furnished; and room darkening shades insured we could sleep as late as we wanted. However,...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal if you are looking for a quiet spot but also want the convenience of walking to town. We took advantage of the ten minute walk to Historic Lenox, and dined at several excellent restaurants and took in some interesting shops. Also, across the road is Kennedy Park with a number of...

This is our fourth stay at the Birchwood Inn and each one has been magnificent. Our room is cozy and well-appointed. The porch and library are wonderful places to relax. The breakfast is creative, fun and incredibly delicious. The coffee was hot, fresh and flavorful. We intend to come back as often as possible. We always feel welcomed by the...

Based on the Birchwood Inn's website and various rave reviews on the internet, I was expecting beautiful, country furnishings and a gourmet breakfast (similar to the experience I had at the Hartstone Inn in Camden, ME). When we arrived, we found our room in drastic need of renovation (paint was chipping off baseboards, a towel was wrapped around a pipe...

We regret that this guest had a less than optimum stay at Birchwood. We are constantly repairing, repainting, and redecorating. Sudden storms can cause considerable damage, and we are sorry that the damages from such a storm had not as yet been taken care of. The guest room in question had just been redecorated with a new wrought iron bed,...

My partner and I stayed at the Birchwood Inn Friday, April 18-Sunday, April 20 for my birthday celebration. We couldn't ask for a more wonderful bed and breakfast experience. The heart and soul of the Birchwood is the innkeeper, Ellen. Ellen created the best breakfasts I have ever tasted. She prepares everything from scratch and is truly a talented chef....

We were looking for a little escape from the cold of Maine, and found plenty of warmth and hospitality at the Birchwood Inn in Lenox, Ma, on our recent vacation. We arrived just in time for a lovely afternoon tea on the porch complete with freshly made creme brulee. Our hostess was wonderful to talk to, and she did everything...

What can I say, we loved every minute of our stay at the Birchwood Inn! My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days for some rest and relaxation and we got that and so much more... The inviting front door with tulips, impeccable rooms, heavenly breakfasts, heart warming fireplaces, wonderful treats during the afternoon tea hour...

The Birchwood Inn is as magical and beautiful as its website, brochures and advertisement claim it to be. The library looks just like the pictures- warm and inviting. The fire was crackling and we curled up on the couch to read, sipping warm apple cider and snacking on homemade cookies and cakes. Our room (The Wilson) was cozy and clean,...

We chose this inn based on reviews here at TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. The inn is centrally located and you can get to most of the attractions within the Berkshires in a short drive. The room was cozy and comfortable. My girlfriend had the flu during our stay and was more than comfortable here. The breakfasts were delicious...

We stayed here in the fall - our experience was decent. The innkeeper was nice enough, the food was good (albeit a little sugary), and it was definitely centrally located. On the downside - the furnishing in our bedroom really needed updating and felt a little rundown, and we were pretty surprised to see that the inn is directly on...

Since Birchwood Inn has never charged for parking and since Birchwood Inn is more than 6 miles from a major highway, we believe that this reviewer has our inn confused with another inn.
