I stayed at the Hampton Terrace for a couple of nights in September. All-in-all this inn is a fabulous choice for a short stay in Lenox. It has a cozy main house, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast and very sociable (but not cloying) innkeepers (Stan in particular). I stayed in the carriage house, which was lovely and quiet. The inn is...

We absolutely loved THe Hampton Terrace and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in The Berkshieres. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary and had never been to the Berkshieres before. I did an online search looking for places to stay and found this inn. I absolutely fell in...

This Inn is beautiful and grand from the moment you walk in. Gorgeous living room and dining room and breakfast was very good. Our room was in the back house and was extremely spacious, clean and modern but still very charming. Location could not have been better. Very quick walk into town and an easy drive to many locations. Stan...

This is our second time staying at Hampton Terrace, and we continue to be impressed. My review goes unchanged. It is still a lovely property. The location within walking distance to the Lenox, MA downtown remains the same. Our room was lovely, charming and spacious. We especially liked the wood burning fireplace and expansive bathroom. But to me, what makes...

There is no doubt that this is a wonderful historic building. The dining room where we shared breakfast with fellow travellers was spectacular and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. We had the Kate d'Anterroches Bonner room which was really large with a set of steps up into the huge, very comfortable bed! The bathrom was even larger and has the...

This is a VERY positive review. Addressing the several negative comments: We are very informal, and have only several "rules" which are suggested ONLY for the benefit of other guests. Occasionally someone wears perfume here strong enough to part the sea. An inn is an intimate environment, and we are mainly looking out for the dining room. Everyone at breakfast...

Having stayed at the Hampton Terrace for a number of years, we would not think of staying anywhere else. Stan and Susan treat everyone like family and go out of their way to make your stay a special one with wonderful breakfasts, information on area restaurants and attractions and a knowledge of area history that you wouldn't find in the...

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Hampton Terrace. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, the breakfasts were delicious and adequate and the hosts Stan and Susan were very gracious. My daughter Dr. Dawn Bazely, a professor at York University, Toronto, Ontario Canada who has a 6 month Bullard Fellowship at Harvard Forest was equally impressed and informed...

We stayed at Hampton Terrace recently for a long weekend, and it was great. We mainly picked it for the location (blocks from the center of Lenox), but the room was large and comfortable, the jacuzzi fun, and the breakfasts delicious -- and we appreciated that they were served until 10am, since we like to sleep in. We hope to...

We had a great stay at Hamtpon Terrace! The property was very nice, and the house was beautufil! Our room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable! Stan, the innkeeper, was very attentive to any need we had during our stay. The blueberry pancakes were great too! Lenox is a neat little town with great places to eat and...
