I wasn't aware of this hotel but glad we stayed. Very convienent off of 95. Close to historic sites. Wonderful room, sitting area, comfortable bed. Kitchen appliances, dishes with dish washer, all great. Free breakfast a plus. Just upgrade the towels and its 4 star....More

I have stayed at aloft at other locations and not at Lexington - but from what I understand, most aloft hotels are similarly designed - they have a little funky decor and small rooms. Compared to that, element has big rooms. It is more like a business hotel where you will see fellow travelers typically staying at element for an extended stay.
Depending on what you are looking for, you may choose either of the two - you won't go wrong !
