My first trip to the Vineyard, for a girls weekend trip, and we stayed at the Attleboro House. The rooms were booked in January for the July trip, since everything on the island books up quick. We were 10 girls; we want a place that was close to the beach, restaurants and ferry dock. The attleboro house has a lot...

I am surprised that this hotel still exists! In 2010 when we stayed there for around a week it was crumbling on every step we took and shaking on every incoming breeze! It is situated on a nice place with awesome view. The owner at that time was an elderly woman but she was really friendly. She even made us...

Recently staying here only b/c our other hotel choices all booked. The location is amazing, view from our room amazing, but wow does this place need updating. Everything is old, including the towels, sheets & mattresses. Our bedspread looked dirty and had stains, so off that came. Sheets seemed clean, but mattress very uncomfy, could feel the springs. Bathroom was...

Friendly owner but house is very dated furniture is un kept carpets were filthy walls chipping and cracked. The bathrooms had great water pressure but again need major renovations. Outside could use so sprucing up as well. Had I know there were shared baths I would have brought my own cleaning product.

The Attleboro House is in a central location in OB. It is walking distance from the ferry so need for a car. You could walk it if you don’t over pack and bus and taxi the island the remainder of your visit. Upon walking up to the front door you are greeted by a big wrap around porch with several...

This summer will be my 4th staying at the Attleboro House. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and bathrooms are always neat and clean. The first two floors have a lovely wrap around porch complete with rocking chairs. There are no TV's in the rooms but why would you need one when beautiful Oak Bluffs Harbor is your...

This no frills bed and breakfast hotel is charming and overlooks the harbor in Oak Bluffs. Estelle, the owner adds to the irresistible charm of your stay on this unique historically registered hotel. Rooms are clean and provides the occupants with easy access to nightlife, restaurants, swimming, ferry, fishing, shopping, etc

Approaching this quaint isle from the water is not a speedy trip, yet I LOVE my trip out Montauk which takes me here. I sit topside watch the stars, breathe in salty air...As the whalers did, centuries ago. However, my boat drives in the wee hours if the morning. Where do I go? To the snug harbor of this large,...

“Room 11 isn't right smack in the front of the builiding like one other room with a porch is but set back on the side in the front. My friend stayed in the other front room. I enjoyed 11 better, both had private porches. 11 was a bit buffered from the street noise.”
