Every year we find our way to MV and the only place I'd prefer to stay is at Island Inn.
The staff is always kind and helpful.

This s is a place that I would have to say fails on many levels. However, the most distressing aspect of this place is the hotel management. I booked a week stay in February for the August season after reviewing the hotel website. I arrived...More
Stayed 2 nights in two bedroom apartment. Very well equipped. Set in lovely grounds with swimming pool and tennis courts. Very clean. Just a short drive to Oakbluffs and great base for exploring the island. Would recommend
It's an older facility, but well maintained and is very nice. Room has plenty of space, we did not use kitchenette - we had to eat the seafood when on the island! Only complaint (very minor) is the bathroom had little counter space which was...More

I am not familiar with either of these specific units' but the condominium suite unit we stayed in (thirty something??) is functionally a 2BR unit with 1.5 bathrooms. There is a main BR, and a second sleeping area with 2 twin beds next to the living area, but it has a half wall rather than a full wall adjoining the living room. I found the place very clean and the staff very friendly, and eager to address any issues if you had a problem. The office opens late on weekends and my wife and kids loved the complementary k cup coffee and hot chocolates in the office. The distance to the beach and Lola's restaurant (BTW $1 oysters during happy hour) is great. The distance to the center of Oak Bluffs is about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride. Hope this helps. We really like the pool and tennis courts are also available. Have fun.

The townhouse is spacious; 1 full bath ground level, ground floor bedroom has 2 twin beds, spiral staircase to master bedroom with 1/2 bath, pull out couch in the living room, small kitchen area, balcony to drink/eat breakfast in morning, room was clean. Location is closer to Oak Bluffs, on bike path, bus route, only a few minutes away. The ferry port is at Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs, bus and taxi service is available at both. Edgartown can be reached via bus or bike.
