Rented for Thanksgiving, and when we got there the house was cold. We asked the owner to start the heat, but she couldn't (said she didn't know how, although house has central heating!!!) and she had comments like "this is Canada in October, why do you need heat" and "some people may be colder than others". Very rood! After insisting and pushing she brought room heaters for the bedrooms. However, they would trip breakers all the time and had to text the host in the middle of the night to reset them (she was living in the basement at all time). The bedroom side of the house had a constantly septic tank smell, even in the rooms without en-suite bathrooms. While the rooms looked as good as in the pictures, there were too many issues that needed constant attention and didn't allow us to relax as we intended. The smell in particular completely ruined the experience.…
Great place by the water to relax. It is like your own home. Nice weather and everything you need is very close by. Great amenities also. Place is fully equipped with all the appliances. Had a great stay will like to come back one day.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Waterfront BnB for the second time. There are fabulous views of the Bay of Quinte from every room. We enjoyed the very quiet and peaceful setting. Our beds were luxurious and incredibly comfortable. We spent an afternoon touring the quaint nearby towns which are just a short drive away. We can't wait for our next visit.
If you're looking for a beautiful setting, a quiet place and amazing accommodations then this is the place for you. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Waterfront. It has all the comforts of home . Clean and modern on a beautiful piece of property.
