This is our third stay at this campground. We always reserve the same spot. I'm not telling which one because I don't want there to be a rush on it. The staff are always friendly and helpful, it's well kept, there are a fair number of large sites, and it's close to the things we want/need to do while we're...

The campground sites are right on top of each other but that can be overlooked. What was more disturbing was the shooting range/target practice area abutting the property. At 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning the shooting began....The small, local airport is also close by and were awakened. at 5 a.m. by a plane flying low overhead, so low that...

Came as a small group and rented 4 sites. The campground is nice enough but the sites are close, small with not many trees between. We were near a cute pavilion which is covered and has a sink. There are TONS of rules and they charge an extra $20 for an overnight guest. The things that were bothersome were the...

If I could give this place zero stars , I would. This place has more rules than a jail. Dogs? Yes but only in these areas. guests? Yes but only under these conditions. The rules are above and beyond any that I have seen before, state campgrounds included. The staff is rude and management is aggressive and unprofessional. While they...

I will say the pine trees gave great cover from the hot sun. We were in a pull thru site with full hook up and could not have been happier. FYI - they do charge for dogs on the campground ($5/per dog per night) with restrictions. There are cabins, tents, and a store on site and with a lake and...

I pause before I give this review three stars but I think it is warranted when I compare it with the other campgrounds we have been to. First, I will go over at the positives. The positives were: the pine forest is beautiful. Even though there are a lot of campers and RVs on the property, you don't feel on...

We drove here from Ohio not knowing what to expect, after not being able to find anything available in the cape area we decided we would "make it work". 1st off lets say this place is beautiful. Full of old pines. I know I read some bad reviews about the spots being full of sand and not great. We did...

We arrived late Saturday afternoon on 4th of July weekend after being in crazy traffic for 9 hours and the staff could not have been more understanding and helpful in getting us settled in quickly. Clean facilities, great staff, beautiful lake, and lots for the kids to do make this a place we will definitely be returning to.

We arrived Thursday afternoon and departed Sunday. The sites are very large and the fire pit was awesome. Staff are very friendly and helpful. When I made the reservations I forgot to mention I was a good Sam member but when we arrived they gave us a credit to spend at the store. A little advise is to bring a...

We spent a week here in our 5th wheel trailer. We loved being back in pine trees & natural grass/dirt campsites instead of concrete/gravel/manicured grass. We had electric & water & paid to have our holding tanks pumped once mid week. We enjoyed grilling & eating outside (picnic tables provided). We had a nice rock fire ring but didn't feel...

Pinewood Lodge Campground is nestled in 200 acres of white pine forest. There are 300 beautifully shaded sites, some in secluded tenting areas and others with full facilities for almost any size rig. We are located on a 50-acre fresh water lake. The campground boasts over 3,000 feet of lake frontage as well as a six-acre island. The waterfront is great for bass fishing, swimming, and boating. Our camp store has bait and tackle as well as rental rowboats and canoes. The store has many items available for your convenience including wood, ice, and groceries.
