I never stayed here, but recently made a reservation of one night. The person at the house took my card and charged half the room with the other half to be charged when I checked in. I was not sent a confirmation. When I arrived on friday night there was "No room in the Inn". LITERALLY!!!! The front desk person... More

I am the manager in question to which the reviewer refers. I did empathize quite honestly with the guest. This was a repeat-on-ocassion guest unknown to me, as I have been with the property only months. The reservation was made for him on a manual reservation form that had been misfiled and not noted in our arrivals journal by a... More

I just returned from a beautiful stay, the room was very clean and the breakfast was great. Jim took time out of his busy schedule to check me in, answer my questions and serve a beautiful breakfast in the garden. This was a delightful place to stay.

This was my third stay at the Victoria House for Bear Week. I always reserve room #9, which is the second smallest room in the house. It is crazy small, but it's clean, air conditioned, reasonably priced, and the bed is comfortable, so it suits my needs perfectly. There are two shared bathrooms to use so I didn't have to... More

We booked a last minute getaway, for 2 nights. The room was very clean, close to town, and Jim, the innkeeper was very nice. We had our own private bath, and a small fridge in the room. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely go back and stay there. Loved it!

My husband and I stayed at Victoria House over a weekend in July, the weekend before the 4th of July to be exact – I hear things get a little wild once the 4th hits! The location could not be better. We took the ferry from Boston and the walk to the hotel from the harbor was probably 5 minutes,... More

We stayed here for two nights in June 2012, and had a great time. Jim is enormously helpful and welcoming and has years of knowledge about P-town. The rooms are simple and well kitted out. The location just off the main drag but not too noisy at all. Recommended.

My hubs and I stayed for a long weekend in Ptown at Victoria House. We are both over 6 feet tall and though the rooms were smaller than your normal hotel room, the rooms were very comfortable, queen size ben was plenty big enough for us, newly renovated and decorated with wonderful taste and we loved our stay there. The six European-style rooms sharing two large common baths are located on the 2nd floor, and 4 rooms offering private bathrooms on the first floor. In July and August a continental breakfast is served daily outdoors on the patio. As well, there are many restaurants, including The Lobster Pot and The Mews are a 5 minute walk from Victoria House. The ferry to and from Boston is at the far end of the road, about a 4 minute walk. The Pilgrim Monument & Museum is 2 blocks away and Art’s Dune Tours is directly across the street. Herring Cove Beach is a 10 minute bike ride away. Many art galleries are just a few blcvks away towards the quieter east end of town.
