I last visited this guest house two Summers ago. The house is a block away from the main drag which allows you access to the "FUN" in minutes but gives you a quiet place to get away from it all when you just want to chill. It's a beautifully appointed property with a friendly, unpretentious staff (that can be hard...

Had a great visit at The John Randall House. Met the owner and staff and everyone was kind and accommodating. Both the B&B (and the condo which they were nice enough to give me a tour of) were immaculate and even the shared bath on the 2nd floor was kept remarkably clean. It's an older house with rustic charm so...

Wonderful rooms and staff. We had the best time sitting on their porch and only 1 street over from Commercial. Parking is provided which only adds to the pleasure. Staff was very welcoming and the John Randall House is now our place to stay in Ptown.

It's a great location, walking distance to the pier and across from the 141 Market. I liked that they include several extras with your stay including breakfast, which wasn't great but better than nothing, beach towels, beach umbrellas, rain umbrellas, etc. The rooms are on the smaller side but they have fans and A/C. The decor is somewhat dated. The...

The John Randall House is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry. Check-in was a breeze. The staff (at least the three people we met) were all friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. Even though the place was full, the shared bath was not a problem. The room AC was adequate and very quiet. I wish...

We enjoyed our stay at John Randall house. Our room was on the small size (esp. The bathroom) but the place is clean and a much more affordable option in upscale P-town when others are charging major $$$ per night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good. This place has a fantastic organic market across the street...

We stayed in room 3 on the second floor. It was very clean, had a nice window and an air conditioning unit, a mini-fridge, big bath sheets, reasonably comfortable queen-sized bed, good pillows (4), a small cable tv, and a small bench. Outside, you can relax on a little slate back yard patio in a chaise lounge. There is a...

This beautiful house is perfectly located yet quiet enough to relax, absolute heaven. Very warm, old fashioned country look that I love. Close to the center and the bay it is also enough out of the way to provide quietness and privacy Went for a long weekend and wished we could have stayed a week

We stayed here at the end of June and had a lovely time. The house is gorgeous and well decorated. The rooms and bathrooms are *incredibly* clean and functionally sized. The staff were kind and very attentive. The front porch is a lovely place to have a cup of coffee and they even provide beach towels and bug spray! The...

Centrally located, very clean and cozy, nicely decorated but not too fussy. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We sometimes feel uncomfortable at Inns, like intruding, but our stay here was just very comfortable. And did I say the hosts were really really nice?

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the thick of downtown Provincetown, just one block off Commercial Street, The John Randall House delivers a boutique experience in the heart of Cape Cod. Part art gallery, part bed and breakfast, this Victorian-style inn features contemporary paintings by local and national artists alongside stylish furnishings. What really sets this hilltop inn apart is its newly installed outdoor deck with views of the tallest all-granite structure in the United States, the Provincetown Monument, which commemorates the history of the Mayflower Pilgrims. Each of the ten rooms is equipped with a queen bed, cable TV, a refrigerator, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Stroll down to the veranda in the morning for a continental breakfast of homemade baked goods, fresh seasonal fruit, hot and cold cereals, milk, and juices. (Twice a week, guests are treated to made-to-order waffles.) Once you've eaten your fill, head out to see Provincetown's finest features-what Lonely Planet describes as "untamed coastline and vast beaches" begging to be explored. ... more   less
