We only stayed for one night in May at the Peg Leg Inn, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived late in the afternoon it was raining and misty and we didn't have a booking. After driving around for a quick look to see where we could stay we chose The Peg Leg Inn for its location (right on...

Being from western Pennsylvania my wife had never been to New England. Nothing prepared her for the experience we had at Rockport and the Peg Leg. The quaint little shopping area is within walking distance and the beach is directly across the road. Everyone at the hotel from the manager to the attendants at the free parking area were very...

From the moment we drove along the Beach Street to Peg Leg Inn we just knew we have arrived at the much needed peaceful retreat. We absolutely loved the Inn and Michael, the proprietor. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed browsing the beautifully decorated entrance, entry and breakfast rooms upon check-in (so many charming and beautiful antiques and nautical...

Just back from a week at the Peg Leg and am already looking forward to next summer's visit. We had the third floor room with the private balcony and it was truly heaven! Mike was our gracious host and always had time for a chat with us. Thanks Mike for a wonderful vacation.

Just came back from 4 days at the Peg Leg Inn and wanted to share a few comments: 1. Impeccable and fresh 2. Great location - REALLY just 10 steps from the beach and ocean 3. Owner "Mike" was very pleasant and was the perfect host 4. Do not expect Hilton amenities at a Beachfront B&B - you will need...

We stayed at the Peg Leg for 2 nights for the second year in a row. We have stayed at two other hotels on the main street which were fine but the Peg Leg is our favorite.Room 4 is just off the second floor balcony which offers a great view of the ocean and though the balcony is shared it...

We called the Peg Leg Inn to book a room in July. The owner offered us a discount because we have gone there for many years. Upon recieving the verification we noted that the price quoted was quite different from the verification amount. We called the owner directly. He was very drunk and obnoxious. We politely tried to advise him...

We had a spacious, sunny suite with beautiful ocean and garden views. The Inn is in a great location, right by a small beach and a very short walk to town. The owner was helpful and pleasant. Only two issues: 1) there was no shampoo in the room, let alone conditioner or a hair dryer, so if you're planning on...

The rooms in front of the inn facing the ocean are beautiful! You can sleep to the sounds of the surf in a clean and pretty room. Had a wonderful time and wished we could stay longer.
