First time staying here and am looking forward to going back. All the people in the lodge and restaurant next door, from the owner on down, were kind and accommodating. We stayed in a cabin on the property and it was comfortable

Stayed here in the summer on the way to drop off my kids for summer camp. Loved the property with a swimming pool, in room (window) air conditioner, and lovely property. Its very rustic and our room wasn't anything to write home about, it could definitely use a bit of updating, especially the bathroom. We stayed with a group of...

This is a perfect spot to get away from the city and enjoy clean air and verdant nature. The rooms have a cozy rustic feel to them without being pretentious, and they were nice and warm (which was one of my concerns for winter). The vibe in the common area of the lodge in the evening was welcoming with everyone...

This is my 5th time back at Race Brook Lodge. Each time I fall in love more. The nature, accommodation and staff are exceptional. If I ever get married, this place would be high on my list. It's so peaceful and warms my heart.

I make an annual birthday present to myself of a road trip and a B&B. When I first arrived at Race Brook Lodge, I was somewhat taken aback, as the premises and interiors weren't ornate or opulent, as are most B&Bs. I initially thought that perhaps I'd stay at another inn the following night, however by the end of the...

I was over-the-moon thrilled with the Race Brook Lodge. My room was charming, spotless, private, and simply but thoughtfully furnished; my concerns about "being cold" in the Berkshires assuaged by their toasty bed linens; responsive thermostat; and the warmth of folks sharing in their outrageous cornucopia of a free breakfast. This lodge is perfect for sole travelers, looking for something...

1: When we arrived, the young woman did not greet us with a hello, etc. We called a hour earlier, she was expecting us, it was about 6:30 PM. She showed us to the room, saying we'll walk through another room to get there, as the other was empty. (We were in the photo with the two brass beds as...

Goodness Gracious! I am so sorry you were not informed properly about the breakfast. Sometimes when there are only a few rooms, we can't put out the full elaborate breakfast spread. However we always do our best to make sure there are ample delicious options for everybody! I'm very sorry you were uninformed and felt neglected. That is not the...

When my husband and I began talking about where we wanted to get married we decided a few things off the bat. We wanted somewhere that provided a beautiful natural setting, a place where most of our friends and family could stay, and a venue where we could host an entire weekend-long experience. With Race Brook Lodge, we got all...

We had hoped for cute B&B kind of experience- the cottage was number 19, in the back. It was not clean-- an M & M was on the floor on our arrival, dead bugs in the bathroom light fixture. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable -- I think they were going for shabby chic but seemed more Salvation Army. See the...

I don't know why you weren't shown the lodge common rooms and breakfast area upon check-in. We have bee so shorthanded lately and different people have been helping out who possibly don't remember to share all...
